A sheepish smile had crept across her lips and she couldn't contain the faint chuckle that fought it's way, through. It's true, you wouldn't think she would have anything to do with Bergmann's work and spend the time reading up on his theories. And she hasn't. But that old fool never shut his mouth about whatever project he was working on or book he was reading. He went on for hours, unsolicited, about his work. So it wasn't as if she had a choice in the matter.

Sliding further back against the desk, she had to jump just a little bit to lift herself onto the edge so that she could sit comfortably on the cleared part of the table. She was easing up a bit from that jolt she received earlier when Herr Doktor had frightened her so badly that she dropped a little jar over. "So, ve're goingk to summon a bigk tit cat voman," she said with a scoff. She always knew there wasn't something quite right with Bergmann, but this was just ridiculous. None the less, attempting such a feat was going to be amusing.

Dok had to chuckle a bit himself there, thinking about what he discribed Asmodeus as. He must`ve mistaken a stripper for the great old one, surely.

"If it is even possible to do so. As far as i am concerned, he made ze whole story up... but think about ze possibilities- just a sample of her blood, a strand of hair, some DNA would be enough to make beings ze world has never seen before!"

Dok flipped the pages of the first book, before getting to the part that was actually interesting to them- the detailed discriptions of the ritual he had done.

"Hm.. ze mask of a japanese devil, ve surely have zat lying around somewhere... a pentagram, 10 meters in diameter painted vith blood- easy task for ze Millennium. Zat ritual dance is ridiculous, but possible... but ze human sacrifice... ve vould have to kill someone of lesser importance. If zis is as faulty as ve both zink, ve shouldn`t endanger someone from ze command staff."

As if he couldn´t control himself, he reached for a scalpel.

Vell, vell.. vell... it seems one of our handy test subjects vill have to die for ze sake of science.."

The first mention of blood made her instantly hungry, she suddenly became more aware of the pit in her stomach and she licked her lips unconsciously but none the less restrained herself from any further action. Her grip did tighten on the edge of the table and she stared intently at the scalpel in his hand, almost hypnotized by the shiny device. Shaking her to pull out of her trance, she fixed her gaze past the scalpel and up to her superior. "10 meters, hm. Perhaps, Mein Herr, ve should move zhis ritual elsevhere. Somevhere a little more spacious," she suggested, glancing about the laboratory and it's mess of desks and tables that she didn't feel like moving around just to draw out a giant circle of blood for an experiment that wasn't certain to work.

Dok nodded in agreement, though the question of where lingered in his mind.
"Yes, you are right of course- but Herr Major vould not like it if ve used ze war room for zis. Hm... Zat Yureka is off on a mission, right? Her room is almost empty, it should be possible to rearrange it into a ritual chamber..."

Her loss if she would miss this scientific endeaveor of the century. He had little sympathy for that genetically engineered supersoldier anyways- a smart mind, but he was always reminded about her origins. His misguided students.

He glanced back at Fausta, who seemed rather thirsty all of the sudden.
"I trust you vill be able to get ze blood ve need for ze pentagram, Nurse Adler..? Ve vill meet in Espada`s room zen... I`ll prepare ze rest of ze ritual and find a volunteer..."

A mad giggle left his mouth at the mentioning of the human they needed, and his hand clutched the scalpel tightly.

Jumping off of the table, she gave a feeble nod of her head. "Ja, Herr Doktor," she said in a sing-song voice, the sound of her heels clicking on the dirty tile floor echoing over every surface in the laboratory as she made her way to the freezers. Once her back was turned away from him, she scowled. It was like he was taunting her by putting her in charge of this duty. Like dangling a dead mouse in the face of a snake but not letting it eat, how cruel. But perhaps a couple of packs could be spared, just as a quick snack before such a taxing mission was to take place. The smirk returned to her face and she exited the laboratory and into the storage freezer to prepare.
