Shooting Range

Having just changed into his informal attire, (Quite badass) Alexiel was walking down the halls of the Hellsing Mansion, towards the lower levels, Alexiel had but a single destination in mind. A shooting range. As if his aim wasn't horrifying without his vampiric abilities, he was told he needed to practice, much to his dismay. The carpeted hallways were like a maze. He'd barely been there a month, but still had no idea where anything at all was at. 

Rounding a corner, he ran into... something... and ended up bouncing backwards, falling upon his posterior.

Christie was quite surprised as someone managed to run into her, near the firing range no less- two doors to the left was the soundproof entrance to it, and she was just putting her earplugs in as someone bumped into her.
Unlike Alexiel though, she caught herself fairly quickly, then spun around, raising an eyebrow at the young man on the ground.

"Hey, uh, you okay? Watch where you´re going, you might catch a bullet that way."

Looking up, Alexiel met the eyes of the person he had run into. "I'm f-fine." The vampire remembered his original reason for walking down the hallway in the first place. "Hn, I-I'm just looking for the firing range." The person, decidedly of the female persuasion, was at least five or six inches taller than him, from his guesstimate from his current position on his rear, on the carpeted hallway's floor. Pff. "Catch a bullet." He could just melt it to a gas before the projectile could reach him, anyway.

Oh yeah. Firing range. Getting practice in on his weapons without using vampiric abilities. This was going to suck.

Christie had to blink. The little guy was gonna fire a weapon, huh? She had to see that. Was bound to be hilarious, even though he seemed to be a vampire, given the feel of him.. still, she shrugged it off, vampires were getting more and more common to her these days. Patting the plastic holster on her hip with her large Target Champion revolver clipped into it, she gestured over to the door to the range.

"Its right that way. I was gonna head there myself, get some steam off, you know. Its a bit stressful here sometimes."

To say the fricking least. Still, thinking about it, she should`ve probably taken her AK along, too. She should get some practice with weapons that didn´t fit into one palm.

Alexiel hopped up, finding his estimation correct, she was quite a bit taller than him. Stressful? Around Hellsing? What is this madness? Oh, Wait... He was a vampire, in a vampire hunting organization. How is it for stress that you have to worry about someone shooting you in the back? (At least, Sir Paranoid does.) The blond nodded, taking note of her patting the... exceedingly large revolver on her hip. Alexiel had his ITM-4 hidden behind the small of his back at the moment, and his 1935 on his right hip holster, also hidden under his cloak. 

Many habits then kicking in, he strode over to the door for the range, and held it open for the other occupant of the hallway.

"Well then, After you, Ma'am."

Right away, firarm noise was coming out of the door, but- not that much right now. Seemed like Seras wasn`t practicing at the moment- that rifle of hers was not a pleasure for the ears, plugs aside.
Nodding to him, Christie came in before him, going to an ammunition dispenser near the entrance that closely resembled a coke machine, but fortifed like a vault. After sliding her ID card through the slot, she selected a box of .357 ammo through the keypad and it was promptly delivered, in a box of fifty shells. Plastic training, of course, they didn`t waste any silver on the range.

"Well- only two of the ranges are occupied. We almost have the whole thing for ourselves, kid."
She called out to him, only gazing over the regular range and not taking a peek into the obstacle course, which would be the next door behind that- shooting moving targets, steel and soda cans and such.

Walking in after Christie, Alexiel walked over to the ammunition vending machine, whistling as he put his hand on the keypad and let a very percise spark roll through the device, the machine dispensing a box of 50 9x19mm Parabellum training cartridges, without damaging the machine's internal structure. As he did so, he whispered "Fuck the Police."

Picking up the box, he walked up behind Christie. 

"Kinda empty in here." The vampire wasn't looking forward to the probably pitiful results of his first attempt, but meh, He had to try anyway.

Nodding, Christie took a deep breath and sighed, inhaling the air of sulfur and ashes as if it was the sweetest perfume. This was a frequence straight from home- Operation Iraqi Freedom, thats when she last smelled it in any intensive manner. ...it was also when she was put out of commission.
Minor details.
Walking up to one of the middle ranges, she pulled out her massive revolver and gently put it on the table, setting down the box of bullets next to it and started to load her speedloaders, as she couldn´t be bothered to load the cylinder by hand.
An eye glanced over to Alexiel, who seemed very unfamilliar with the procedure of this place..

"Just take any of the ranges- you can adjust the distance with the button on the table, further away or closer in. Lets you look at your hits easily without having to run across the range... are you sure that peashooter is going to make it to that target back there?"

She gestured over to the target, which was still fifty meters away, the medium distance. It could go as far as 150 meters , or come closer.

Alexiel took in what she said with extreme detail, walking up to a range a couple away from hers. He wasn't a stranger to firing ranges...

He was just used to having political prisoners to shoot at. And flintlock pistols. In his defense, the weapon is French. What could one expect? "The weapon will do it fine... Me..." Alexiel shrugged, he wasn't used to weapons that even had any degree of accuracy being fired without his "Third eye"

Setting the 9x19mm cartridges on the bench and pulling a magazine for his handgun, and two for his ITM, eight and twenty one each respectively. Deciding that he might as well not just 100% miss the target on his first shot, he had the target come forward to thirty meters, loaded his 1935, raised the pistol, aimed, and took a shot. Just clipping the edge of the paper with the plastic training bullet. The recoil was far less than he expected, and there was neigh a smoke cloud to be seen. Absolutely nothing like a flintlock, he even still had his hand attached. (As he was prone to overcharge his pistols when he loaded the flintlocks by hand.)

Well, at least he hit it.

Christie blinked a bit, stopped loading her speedloaders and looked over his shoulder.

"Say, uh, try holding it with both hands. And... make sure your pistol and your arm form a straight line, or you`re not going to hit anything. ..and maybe actually use the sights on it."

With that said, she put one last bullet into the loader she was holding and put it away, finally taking the weapon into her hands to repeat the process, this time putting the shells directly into the chambers. She was in no hurry to start, loading was part of the fun.

Taking her advice, Alexiel put his other hand upon the weapon, trying to get used to the fact that it, Oh, I don't know, actually was aim-able. Doing his best to line up the two sights on the top of the weapon, he fired it again, this time the shell hitting the target in the kidney. Yep, he had just hit a target twice in a row, with a pistol. This was nothing like a flintlock. 

Actually, he got to a point with his Model XIII flintlock pistol to were he could hit targets at 25 meters, far beyond the pistol's effective range. Still, this was far different.

Patting his shoulder once, Christie snapped the breech shut with a flick of her wrist and, for the fun of it, put the hammer into half cock position to make the cylinder spin with a slap of her hand. Then, moving back to the firing range, she took position with both feet apart, standing in one line with her weapon- briefly, she raised it up, aimed, then pulled the hammer back and fired, an inferno coming out of the weapon from all sides- behind the barrel, in front of the barrel, on top of the barrel through the compensator holes, and a thunderous boom echoed through the hall compared to Alexiel`s rather tame, sharp explosion noises. Through the sound bouncing off the walls, it hit the stomatch hard when one was standing next to it in an almost painful manner.
As that was over, a hole was put directly into the middle of the target´s head, before Christie cocked the hammer again, aimed, and fired a second shot into the chest area.

"God i love that sound." She sighed, letting the gun recoil freely in her hand until it was pointed up at the cieling.

(OOC: Pff. You were right. I can't top this in an indoor setting.)

The pressure wave from Christie's gun was... Well, quite alot of pressure wave. In fact, the difference made his 9mm sound like a cap gun. No matter, he was here for training, and that was all. Sighing, and muttering something in Luciferian about revolvers and modern weapons, admittedly something that should not be heard by anyone, of any age, and that could turn Jan green with envy of the amount of swearing, Alexiel took aim again.

Popping off another of the 9mm rounds, he aimed for the center of his target, coming about a half inch left of the chest. Aiming again, he took on a slow rhythm of aiming and firing, eventually landing three shots on the chest, though to the left and right of the center.

Taking note of his progress, his grouping wasn´t getting much better so far, but the day was still long. He could still get better.

"You know, thats not really a combat handgun.. i don´t think you need to be that good with it, at best you`ll be right in front of the bad guy and shoot him in the face. Besides, you can`t do this."
Placing the left hand on the hammer, Christie aimed at the target from the hip, then pulled the trigger- as the recoil made the gun spring up, the hand that stayed there automatically cocked the hammer again, giving it some fully-automatic feel- the seven bullets that spit out of the belly of the beast were promptly used to make a half circle, and a quick reload via speedloader later, Christie made two holes above it for the eyes of the smile she had produced.

Finding that he was at least done with the horror of having to practice with his pistol, he deposited the now empty gun into it's holster, and backed the target away to 50 meters, then drew his ITM-4, and carefully loaded each magazine into the weapon, then setting it to the bottom barrel on semiauto, and the top barrel on standby. Aiming down the sights, he put them as close as he could to the center of the target, then took a shot, the 9mm peircing the paper just low and to the right of the center.

(OOC: He's not showing off, just has to shoot 50 rounds of ammunition through his weapons, and he wants to see if he likes the MP any better. :t)
