Meeting Hall A

OOC: Apologize about not posting Saturday. My weekend got unexpectedly busy. I will be on again later tonight.

IC:
The walls are tall with a concaved ceiling, covered in elaborate paintings of clouds and angles of God, trimmed in gold as chandlers, plated in gold drape from columns elegantly. Though tall, the meeting hall is narrow and long while the floor is grey-blue in marble. Windows on the west side allow in natural light and are opened; framed in blue satin curtains as a soft breeze flutters them with ease. The center of this hall had in it a long table about thirty paces long; almost as long as the room itself. Its dark finish glistened in the sun like its matching chairs.

A pale, ice blonde man sat near the head of the table. With gloved hands, he shuffled through some paperwork, reading slowly as his eyes scanned the so far, empty room. He knew his staff had been busy; but now new threats had arisen and he needed to focus himself as well as them on the goal at hand. Vampires needed to be exterminated as well as other undead and ungodly creatures such as the monster called Millennium. And with recent discovery, there had been portals of some sort. No one knew what they were or how they worked exactly.

He slowly set down his paperwork and swigged some coffee from his cup before standing to stretch, striding across the hall and settling on gazing out of one of the open windows.

Enter From: Limbo

Edward sat in front of the fireplace at Anderson's Orphanage, hunched over in his chair, hands clasped together in front of his face. His mind drifting from place to place. Father Anderson had been called away on business some time ago and had yet to return. Edward had been placed in charge of the Orphanage in Father Anderson's absence. The children enjoyed his company, but often expressed their disappointment that Father Anderson had not yet returned. As he pondered what kind of assignment Anderson was on, Edward heard a knock on the door. "Come in." A woman entered, two orphans clinging to her skirt. She approached Edward, a letter clasped in her hands. "Father McFinn, this letter just arrived for you. It's from the Vatican." Edward took the letter and opened it. It was a summons from Enrico Maxwell. He was to report to Iscariot Castle effective immediately for a meeting. Edward stood and smiled. "It seems I'll be away for a few hours. Will you look after the children for me?" The woman nodded. "Be safe, Father." Edward smiled, patted the children on the head, and left the Orphanage.

Edward stepped through the front gate of Iscariot Castle and looked up at the building. No matter how many times he came here, he always admired the architecture and divine beauty of it. He took a deep breath and continued on his way. It didn't take him very long to reach the meeting room. Edward knocked on the door, slowly turned the handle, and stepped in. He saw Maxwell standing across the room, staring out of a window. Edward shut the door and walked toward him. When he was close, he stopped and bowed. "Archbishop Maxwell."

Enrico sipped his coffee slowly as McFinn entered. He drew his gaze away from the yards as his fellow Iscariot member spoke to him. "Paladin McFinn," he said with a narrow lipped, but warm smile. [b]"how is this wonderful day treating you?"[b/] he couldn't help but think that the staff were getting younger and younger. It didn't seem to phase Enrico.

Stepping into the meeting hall, and followed in by two other Templars, James St. Michael, Knight of the Order of St. John bowed in Archbishop Maxwell's direction "Archbishop Maxwell, you look well today; so what have we been called here today for?" He said with a polite smile crossing his face, his hands were behind his back as he stood in an at ease position for now rather than completely relaxing in the ornate meeting room; it was cool inside, the Templar closed his eyes for a second to allow himself to enjoy the flow of cool air flowing over his skin.

Bowing his head in the direction of Father McFinn the Heavenly monster's smile grew even warmer. "Ah Father, how are things at the Orphanage, I've heard that some of the younger ones have started to get Chicken Pox?" He said in a concerned, sober tone, he reached out as he spoke to shake the hand of the Paladin of Iscariot. He was almost a fixture in the masterwork halls of the Vatican; and his age made his presence almost seem as natural as breathing in the Vatican... the effect was amplified even more so when someone was attuned to supernatural or divine auras such as his own. [i[Hmm, what could Maxwell have called us together for...[/i] he thought darkly, his eyes trailing along the painting coloured walls and the stained glass that painted the dark mahogany wood various colours as the light went through the grand windows that overlooked the rest of the Vatican.

Edward smiled. "It is a wondrous day, Archbishop Maxwell. I hope it is going well for you to." The Paladin heard the door to the room open. He turned and looked over. It was Father Michael, an acquaintance and fellow Paladin. Edward accepted the handshake, grasping James' hand and shaking for a second before releasing his grip and returning his arm to his side. "The Orphanage is doing just fine. The children love having me around, just as they did when I was Orphan there as well. And only one of the children has gotten Chicken Pox. The rest are fine as can be. " He smiled.

Luciano walked along the halls of the Iscariot castle, tail curled around his waist underneath his clothes, his hood also up. No matter how many times he'd seen each of the hallways, they never ceased to inspire awe, the perfection and flawlessness in their construction was amazing. After making several turns, he found himself at the door of the meeting hall. Knocking and slowly opening the door, he poked his head in. "Hello?"

Enrico rubbed his temple as McFinn asked how he was, and as Michael asked about the meeting. Though he was stressed, he was not about to admit it to any in the organization."Marvelous," Enrico answers. He clears his throat and motions for the two to walk with him towards the table. "Have a seat," he says with a light, slim smile. Just as doing so, the younger Iscariot member enters the room. "Luciano," he says to the boy. "So good to see you. Please join us."

Edward nodded at Luciano to acknowledge his arrival. He smiled and then strolled over to the table, sitting in one of the many chairs that surrounded it. Edward awaited the coming orders from Enrico.

OOC: Short post is short.

The catboy smiled to the other occupants of the room. "Caio, Father Maxwell." He stepped into the room, closing the door gently behind him, then proceeding to door at one of the many chairs along the side of the table. He gave a nod and a smile to the others in the room. "Father Michael, Father McFinn."

Sirina walked brisky through one hall and another; the sun warm on her face as she passed every window before she came to the door of hall that they were all meeting in. Her now green eyes caught the sight of a tail slipping into the room as the door closed behind it right before her. Fixing the habit on top of her head and pinning some stray chocolate colored strands of hair into it, she gave a soft knock before turning the door knob and entering. She silently greeted everyone with a bow of her head before almost silently closing the door behind her.

"Hello," she said as her light footsteps brought her over to an empty seat next to McFinn. She settled herself in her seat, setting her bible and sunglasses on the table, and folded her fingers together ontop of the table. "Did I miss anything important?" She asked McFinn leaning to her left to ask him.

Rather quickly Nathan made his way to the meeting his minds a flurry with thoughts Well this is going to hopefully shed some light on situations.., pushing open the door he saw Maxwell, Edward, Luca he honestly just called him/her Luca no matter what without a care and finally Sirina. Quickly he seated him self a couple seats away from Sirina, not wanting to sit next to the other too, he honest didn't dislike them it was just personal preference to stay away form others sometimes.
Comfortably seated he gave a small wave Hello as usual he kept his cherry attitude about him, despite the fact he was potently dreading what ever Enrico was about to say.

Acknowledging everyone with a nod, James took a seat, the abbot gestured for the two Templar with him to do so as well, gesturing at the younger of the two whom looked more than a little nervous to say the least to calm down the Holy Monster looked at the ceiling, contemplating on the day while everyone made their introductions. He had been a fixture of the Vatican for many a year, he'd seen Anderson's early days and he had spent many a year coming to terms with himself, now it seemed it was time to venture out, now it was time to receive his marching orders.
He had to admit he could never understand Maxwell, and couldn't bring himself to like the man, he had a dark heart and there was cruelty buried inside of him that had no place in someone of his rank and station. Yet it seemed the Templar was the only one that could see it, sadly. Archbishop, everything you do is in the service of yourself and the pursuit of power, the Templars did horrible things at your bequest and I cannot let that carry on, they must be purified of your spiteful influence one way or another, he thought, looking at Maxwell while his features kept his usual calm, warm expression; a mask that disguised his thoughts.

OOC:

"In it, I will address: Researching a portal, spying on Millennium and Hellsing, night patrols around Rome and the other territories we manage, and the recruiting of Unaffiliated Members."

Forgoing the portal stuff.

Enrico looked around the table as he slowly lowers himself into his chair.

Six... it's better than none but not as good as eight or nine...

"Looks as if Sister Eir and Father Miles will not be joining us today," Enrico says as he makes a note in his book of their absence. "Perhaps they did not get the memo and forgot to tell us...

"Fellow Servants of God. I have grand news; there has not been a vampire siting in Rome or Italy for the last few months. This means that we are doing our jobs beyond our abilities and have, perhaps, exterminated them from our lands. I praise you for that.

He gives a sincere smile and folds his hands together on the table. "Our territory is whole again, and it is with great thanks to our organization and its more than capable members." His gaze slowly lowered to the table and the sincere smile slowly faded from his expression. "But that was not without sacrifice and death. We should be grateful for those who honored the church and gave their lives defending it, and to that, they should be honored by remaining in our memories.

"Yet this is only Rome and Italy. Our other territories are another problem. More and more vampires have been sited... As well as Millennium on rare occasion." He looked up at each and every one of them, his eyes cold, heartless, and stern. "This means that we still have a problem. A Problem that needs taking care of... at least in our territories first off. And we must keep a close eye on the enemy because their territory boarders ours. And perhaps one day their territory shall be ours when we exterminate all vile beings and perhaps unorthodox organization's.... such as Millenium..." He let a small smirk grow on his features.

"In order to do this, this brings me to the second part of this meeting. We should get to know our enemies... Correct?" His smirk grew as he eyeballed the cyborg cat-boy. He might fit in well with Schro-Cat when and if I can send him into their hide outs...

He then made eye contact with James Michael, Diplomatic. A man who could, perhaps, get close to that swine. Yet, perhaps, there would be no need to have HIM under cover. Besides, that dog of hers would catch on too quickly.

Then the thought, If they do this, they would require backup... He looked to everyone else, as if silently relaying his thoughts to them. "Please, if you are lost let me know now. IF you understand where I am going with this proposal to you, my fellow, honorable, instruments of God, I naturally would like to know your thoughts on this matter."

His hands made gestures with his proposition before he became silent by lowering his chin and putting his folded, gloved hands to his mouth; as if to catch any words that may fall from his lips.

OOC: Second post I make as Enrico will talk about looking for new members IN GAME and then patrols around the stuff we protect. It will be shorter. If you want something specific, let me know viva pm

Edward listened intently to Maxwell as he began to address the gathered priests. It was the usual talk that they had all heard before. The Vampires had been driven out of Italy and Millennium had been sighted on a few occasions. He wasn't very surprised at any of this. However, what did surprise him was that Maxwell suggested infiltrating their enemies and going undercover. "Will all due respect Father Maxwell, I'm not sure how going undercover would work. Many of us here would kill their kind without hesitation. Showing restraint is not something we were taught. If we did do this, we'd have to be extremely careful who we send." He said with a look of doubt on his face.

The catboy listened eagerly to all of the glorious, wonderful words that were bestowed upon him by the holy being known as Enrico Maxwell, his tail swishing equally eagerly, ears perked to catch every bit of sound, taking note as the sentence spoken whilst Maxwell was staring directly at him seemed to have a heavier connotation than what one would normally assume. His eyes flicked over to Father McFinn as he spoke. As the Paladin finished, the cyborg's pupilless blue eyes flicked around the table. As nobody else had yet spoken, he slowly raised his hand. "Father Maxwell, Reconnaissance is my main strong suit, I'm available wherever you need me." Also, any restraint, or lack of for that matter, his human thoughts would have, would be corrected by his programming's protocols anyway. No worries there.

Ooc; I've not instilled a posting order. If someone else wants to get a word in, do so now. I will be posting again on Saturday/Sunday. It will instill orders and such. If you still want something specific, let me know ASAP. THANKS.

A slight chuckle came out of Nathan's lips, it seems Edwards words brought a smile to him, though he tired to hide it, his acting was usually better but something about the man's words just made him chuckle.  He wasn't exactly like all the priests here I could easily go with in the ranks of Hellsing without shedding any blood and getting the information, its only right for a hunter to have proper patients.
Looking over at Luca a small glint was in his eye, as though he were seeing what plan Enrico had I doubt mr/mrs kitten would be able to properly infiltrate Millenium without us doing some amazing planing ~.

He looked over at Enrico out the corner of his eye trying to see if he got a rise. Not wanting to seem as though he were mocking them he casually sat forwards a little I doubt we will be able to properly understand what Millenium has planned anway's its been some time since we even had any data of them even still having a force

For centuries, the Iscariot Organization has fought in the name of god with the utmost devotion to their righteous cause. However, not every priest inducted into the organization remains with the organization, and there are those who have been banished for committing crimes against god. And though these people are few, they none the less exist. One such man, is James Blackwood. A former Priest of Iscariot, resummoned to the Vatican, a first for the organization, and one that will more than likely not be met with thunderous applause.

As the sun sat high above the Vatican, a black car sped down the roadway, stopping at the front gates of Iscariot Castle. The driver stepped out of the car and opened the left side passenger door. From the passenger door arose a man dressed entirely in black and gray. His eyes seemed as if all the life had been drained from them. The Priests in the courtyard stopped to look at the man. Many of the younger ones paid little attention to the man, indifferent to his arrival. However, those of the older variety wore a look of disgust and scorn.

James likewise paid the Priests no heed as their opinion of him did not matter. He strode across the courtyard, heading straight for the entrance to Iscariot Castle. He had been summoned from his exile in Russia for a reason. What exactly that reason was, he was not told. Only that the Archbishop himself requested his presence. There was a meeting being held in Meeting Hall A. That was his destination.

As he walked, James glanced around, taking in the familiar sights. It had been somewhere around 10 years since he last saw this place. A place that he once called home, and those that he once called brother and sister. Memories of days past began to linger in his mind. He tried to push them aside, but it was no use.

His footsteps echoed down the halls of Iscariot Castle, trench coat billowing as the air rushed past him. He climbed a staircase, spying the door to the Meeting Hall at the other end of the hallway. The clacking of his shoes echoed, stopping in front of the door. James knocked on the door twice, a two second interval between knocks. He then turned the knob and opened the door to the room.

Inside the Meeting Hall were many unfamiliar faces. Only two out of the assembled members were familiar to him: Archbishop Maxwell and Father James St. Michael. James Blackwood stood in the doorway examining everyone and everything in the room. His eyes eventually locked with the Archbishop, the man who had summoned him from exile. He remained quiet, shutting the door behind himself.

Luciano cast a disappointed gaze at Nathan. I'm sorry. Who's the cyborg that can't be smelled and found by the undead by their heartbeat? Not you, Stuuuupid. At the knock on the door, his gaze flicked over, reaching the door just after the second knock upon its opening, at which Luciano waved to the new entrant to the room. "Hello~"

Nathan looked over at Luca giving him a tut and a shake of the head, as if he knew what he was thinking I think the cyborg is thinking something silly leader ~ a sly smirk on his face, looking over at James he raised a brow Been a while stranger it had been quiet a while and Nathan really got to talk to the man too much, nothing beyond a hello and my name is.
Tilting his head he looked around the table tapping his lips Well getting one of us into Millenium would work if..we oh I don't know knew where Millenium was.

The man sat forwards It would be easy enough to get into Hellsing with some fake ids and stories the attack they suffered may be a good opportunity but I am worried that they would increase there security to rather paranoid levels. His eyes scanned across the room at the people Not only that but we ourselves seemed to have been rather..well lazy as of late and not to mention Enricro our science division isn't the best of late due to a ceritan ash been taken before we could get our little toys to work right

The cyborg resisted the urge again to palm his face, which took on a more serious expression. "Yes. Finding Millennium would be a pain. However, what about trying to get Millennium to bite some bait and come to us? Maybe slip in an operative." Who, Oh, I don't know, can report back without having to use a phone. Plebe. Not sure how you ever expect to make it out of Hellsing alive or... God forbid, actually report back during your stay there. Damn that boy has some sass. His ears perked up slightly. "Toys?"

He could feel it, the cat boy was sassing him it was in his eyes he always wanted to just put that damned cat in a choke hold. Hmm yup too bad our operatives got a little firey and well no more data, he stretched out his arms looking over at Luca It seems we lost a good way to fight vampires, so the little kitty doesn't get a new toy
Rubbing his chin he looked at Luca iniquitously before rubbing his chin, it was obvious he was thinking about something before shaking his head and sighing.
