OOC: A rather large hotel dominating the countryside around it, having numerous floors and more than it's fair share of rooms it's a good and reputable place that gets little trouble

Maia stepped into the room, dumping the bags in the little closet space provided she turned around to address what he had said about the beds “we’ve both had a bad time of it recently, plus we both need a good night’s rest… I trust you enough to know you won’t take advantage so there’s no problem with us sharing” she said with a light blush.

She wasn’t too keen on sleeping on the floor and she didn’t want to make Ben do that either, so pulling him into a quick hug she pulled away and went to turn the small walk in shower on “Ben, you’ve seen me almost naked so there’s no need to get embarrassed.” She said growing even redder. “You need to return the favour at some point” she muttered under her breath as an afterthought, she mentally face plamed, she hadn’t meant to say that out loud…

“What you need now is to go and get in that shower to warm yourself up and get the blood off of you and I’ll sort out this lot, then we can both share the bed ok? I will brook no arguments on that, so shower, now”

"Y-Yes sir." Ben said with a blink, saluting promptly- though it was more of a joke rather than anything else. It was true though, he was completely covered in dry blood and his clothes started to feel like a second skin of his, drentched in sweat, ghoul saliva and other juices. His shoulder felt sore from the Mattocks rather impressive recoil, and he was still itching all over from the bites.. likely infections that were currently being taken care of.

So, without a word against it,he moved over to the small side room that held the shower and closed the door halfway- not because he didn`t want Maia to see, but because the room was so small that the door had to be closed to have any space to move at all.

He quickly stripped out of his torn and ripped uniform and got under a warm, pre-heated stream of water, rinsing the filith off of his battered body. He sighed in relief, leaning against the shower wall, and for a while, just listened to Maia unpacking their stuff.

Maia chuckled at his salute; it showed that at the very least he was getting back to his old self. She pulled off her shirt and trousers; they were a little water logged and so she didn’t want to have to put up with them. Changing into fresh clothes would be useless at this point; she’d have to get a shower first if it was going to do her any good. So pulling a spare towel around her exposed form she sat down on the bed, their things were arranged and she had some spare clothes out for Ben and herself.

They were in for a quiet day it seemed.
Though there was something wrong…

She had to push it to the back of her mind for now, she couldn't jump at shadows. She had to be strong, letting Ben down by indulging in personal weakness would be an injustice to him. She loudly sighed, her hair was taken out of its normal ponytail and her bra came off as she laid down staring at the ceiling. “Ben, don’t turn off the shower when you’re done, I need one as well remember” she shouted to him with a slightly more cheerful edge to her voice.

Ben chuckled a bit, his mood coming back step by step and he nodded.
"Yeah, of course. I won´t take long, i promise."
Easier said than done with this much blood on his body... but he didn´t waste anymore time and put some shower gel on himself, trying his hardest to scrub the red filith off... while doing that, his vampireic hearing could tell what Maia was doing in the other room. The sound of clothes, zippers and buttons, being stripped away.. and it made his heart race, imagineing that. She mentioned something earlier that he didn`t have to be ashamed of her... but how the heck was he supposed to do that?! It wasn`t his lifelong friend, or his mother, or even Vanessa he was talking about here, it was Maia, and... for some reason, that was a special case.

Maia began to sing a little it as she awaited Ben to finish, she slid off her panties while still keeping herself covered up with the huge towel with a strangely optimistic mood coming on as she heard Ben’s breathing increase. It wasn’t necessary for them to breathe but when not doing anything it seemed to just feel right in a strange way. She stretched out on the bed, but not before getting out her razor and the shaving cream. If there was one thing she didn’t like it was under arm and leg hair, it drove her wild for little reason other than it didn’t look right. Sighing she twirled it in between her fingers before looking at the small pile of DVD’s she had, it looked rather small compared to what she normally had… though the wine list from room service actually looked quite good… "That man gives me improper ideas" she said to herself as she gazed about the room.

He heard that too. Improper ideas? Like what? What the hell was she thinking about?! And why was he to blame?!
Somehow this increased his nonexistant pulse even further, and before he knew it, he was done showering, and turned off the water. He stumbled out of the shower and grabbed a towel, rubbing himself dry and tying it around his waist, before returning to Maia.... who, to make matters worse, didn`t wear any more than he did. He stared at her for a good solid second before closing his eyes and hiding them behind his hand, making his way to the bed to sit down.

"I didn`t see anything. The shower`s yours, Maia... i`ll... uh... get some room service, or something, and try to catch up on the news, and such..."
Ben didn´t know what to say anymore, and he was reaching for the next best pair of pants he could find.

The female Vampire laughed at how embarrassed he got, he was still very human and despite the job very very innocent to say the least. As he had his hands over his eyes she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before running to get into the shower and not waste water, she couldn’t help but giggle at his reaction to her.
“Why get so worked up, I’m naked, so what?” she said to him as she closed the door.

She hoped that he was going to relax; she was just in there to rinse off the blood that had gotten onto her then get straight out and then curl up in bed. She whistled a little tune then after around five minutes the water went off and she got her razor, then just before she started she got another idea and merely dried herself. Taking the small glass from the bathroom for toothbrushes she went back into the room wrapped up in her towel. “Ben… can you shave my leg and underarm hair?"

Ohdeargod this woman was going to be the death of him.
He flared up red at the kiss and then, as he was alone, hurried to get some clothes on and take his mind off of her- the TV was prooving to be very sucessful at it, they were analyzing some terrorist attack on the news- he didn`t really pay attention, he just wanted to dress up before Maia would return...

Unfortunely, he only managed to get his boxers, pants and socks on before she returned, wearing nothing more than before and asking him to shave her. What? Why was she doing that? What was she accomplishing by making him feel even more ashamed about his lack of ability to express what he wanted to say?

What did he want to say, anyway?

"I... uh... I dunno, i... i`ve never done that before... b-besides, why do you need me for that?" He finally brought himself to look at her, and now he was even more stunned at the small beads of water running down her strong, shapely body. The most important areas were covered, but the rest was shining with wetness, making something bubble up inside him.

"I... i guess i could, i mean you regenerate if i mess up, right? Ehehe.."

Maia felt butterflies in her stomach, so she gave him a quick thank you before filling up the little glass for the razor. She went back through, then her towel came undone, she gripped it but before she managed to stop it then her bust was exposed for a few long seconds as she struggled to get it back in place. She was even redder than him.

She just wanted him to admit how he felt.

Even if she wasn’t an object of his desire, she just wanted to know, though he wasn’t complaining when she asked this of him luckily for her. Though she was far from sure about how he felt Maia just wanted him to tell her, this was a good chance. So swallowing her growing fear she just threw off the towel as she reached the side of the bed and pulled on the night clothes she had gotten out for herself. A pair of shorts and a tight fitting tee shirt that exposed her midriff, giving a weak smile she sat down and passed him the tools he would be using.

Oh dear god.
Holy shit.

"GAH! Maia!!"
With vampire reflexes, his hand shot over his eyes, and as he stumbled back, Ben fell over flat onto the bed, his back hitting the middle support strut hard, though the pain vanished fairly quickly as he was still full of fresh blood and in total adrenaline right now.

Holy mother of dogshit.

Behind that thin curtain of his hand, Maia was naked. Completely naked, and wet, with her hair open and everything. How the hell could he resist? Why did he resist? What prompted him to pull his hand over his face? They were alone, and she did that on her own accord. He had nothing to fear as reprecussion. Nothing.

Slowly, he removed his hand, and opened his eyes again, staring at the cieling as he felt really, really stupid about this.

"S...sorry, Maia. Didn`t mean to insult you, or anything... its just my bloody reflexes and instinct... its... its improper to stare at a lady and everything..."

She patted his leg before gesturing for him to take the razor, smiling at him with a light in her eyes the Jewish woman gave a little giggle before straightening out her legs and putting them over his. Her smile grew wider though at the same time she stayed incredibly red “I suppose you’ll still be alright to err… shave me, it needs to be done. My legs look a mess” she paused as she stroked a few loose pieces of hair out of his face. “In the meantime I have my brush, start when you feel ready and if you need me to move at all just say so” it was only after speaking that she realized that her clothing might just have been a little too provocative for the reserved young man...

She hummed to herself at that, starting the process of getting the knots out of her hair was hard, nonetheless she finally felt comfortable and for once she also felt a little warm “It’s a little cold still though…we might have to cuddle up later on…”

Ben sighed and nodded, his breath calming down a little as he took the razor and applied some shaving cream onto her leg.
....it felt kind of nice, to stroke over her leg like tha- NO. Bad thoughts. Do this like a professional, he told himself and gently stroked over her leg with the razor, stripping the unnecessary hairs off of it wherever it went.
For a moment, he imagined what it would be like to do this further up, between her legs, making him go red again until his ear caught on with the news report.

"We`ve just been informed that the plane had been kidnapped by a single person. In addition, the massive size of the explosion suggests that the culprit was the same person who raided the canadian army storage this morning- for viewers who`ve just turned on their televisions, what we`re seeing here is a supposed terrorist attack, possibly related to Al Quida- a lone Boeing 747 jet airliner has been crashed into a yet unidentified government building in the far outskirts of England. Unsupported claims of people saying its an office of the MI6 have been found untrue, and we`re currently unclear about the exact whereabouts of the situation..."

He nearly dropped the razor as he gazed over to the TV, seeing the helicopter footage of a burning Hellsing mansion with a large chunk blown out of it.

"M...Maia...!! Look!!"

Maia dropped her hair brush. She didn’t know how to react, her eyes were wide open and in the shock her legs recoiled and she out her head into Ben’s shoulder. Her pseudo breathing became panicky as she failed to block out the shock, there was nothing to do or say. She watched the tv in horror, the sounds of the flames and the sight of the smoke was more than shocking, it rocked her to her very core… “I just hope Sir Integra’s ok, it looks really bad I must say…” the sound of her voice was strained and seemed to puncture a hurt silence that was building up around them.
Her brown eyes quivered.
She gulped, eventually she could not take it anymore and so she just shut them and blocked her eyes with Ben’s shoulder. This wasn’t supposed to happen, things weren’t meant to go this wrong, nonetheless it was yet there was nothing she could do.
“Ben, we have to assume that this is an attack, planes don’t go anywhere near the mansion so that means it was deliberate. Iscariot don’t fight like that, so we have to assume it’s them her voice went hoarse, she couldn’t say it, she couldn’t say the name of those Nazis… it was a slap to the face to just think about them…

"We have to wait for more information, if we go and get involved we could get killed, they have our numbers meaning that we will get a call when there's anything worth knowing. Rushing in now will just get us killed..."

"I.... i agree...." Ben replied after a pause, staring at the mansion. The impact angle.. Integra`s office was practically nonexistant now. He could only hope she made it out, somehow, through some freak occurance.
For now, he pried his eyes away from it and snatched the remote... though he couldn`t bring himself to change the channel, afterall. Instead, he just tore his mind off of it and continued to shave Maia`s legs, letting the razor glide over the smooth curves of her toned flesh, more and more area was covered until eventually he was finished with both of her legs.
Putting the razor away for now, he dried her off with a towel softly, and turned to look at her- the girl was pale, really, really pale, and shivering a little.

He reached out for her hand, grabbed it, and held it tightly.

The Jewish vampire smiled gently at Ben as he finished off, though it was weak and contained none of its usual light cheeriness. The pale skin of her hand felt a little warmer from his firm flesh; nonetheless her leg itched slightly from the shaving that he had given her. “My underarms can wait I think, let’s just get comfy and t..try and forget for an hour…” her head felt funny, her jaw clenched tight, and then as he took her hand she put an arm around his waist and pulled herself against him “I said that it was going to be snuggling weather didn’t I Ben? Woman’s intuition… always right” she whispered into his ear.
It just made her feel a little better, the warmth radiating from him made her feel just a little cosier.

Maia was pressed against him, and for the slightest moment, the news he was just informed of didn`t matter anymore.
Slowly, he nodded, and wrapped an arm around her as well, grabbing the bedsheet with the other, briefly letting go of her hand.
He pulled the sheet over the two of them, overing them up to their necks, then his hand took hers again, just holding it. He didn`t say a word, he was just right where he needed her to be, and vice versa.

Her breath calmed down, it felt just a little better underneath the sheets, she closed her eyes for a second, breathing in the scent of shower gel and musky pheromones that radiated from her partner. She kissed his neck; he seemed infinitely bigger than her under the covers though that only served to make her feel safer. He seemed more powerful in her eyes; he had gotten through all the ghouls with minimal help, she was proud of him to say the least.
She let go of his hand for a second.
Turning around to face the wall she curled up into the foetal position, she pulled his arms around her as she pulled him against her and worked her way up against him. “I know this is just a little traumatic but and it might not be the best time to say this” her voice broke off and she took a deep breath. But she couldn't say it, the words stuck in her throat... it wasn't the right time, not at all...

Ben barely heard what she said at all- the words of the news reporter were echoing in his mind. They were counting down the confirmed deaths- from the helicopter alone, they saw thirteen corpses. Thirteen good people, dead. No vampire bite would bring them back.

Ben`s head turned to Maia, gazing at her with near empty eyes, unable to translate her words to english at that moment. He merely pulled her closer, trying to shut reality off from his microverse.
A space of his own, where only the two of them were. Where Mato, Christie, Alisa and all the others were alive and well.

"Maia...? What where you trying to sa-" He started, but the words got stuck in his throat as one of their cellphones vibrated, a call incoming. His entire body twitched, and he looked around fractically to find it.

Maia got up, her head swam with emotion, her eyes were red raw and close to tears. With that she got out of bed, the corpses were flashed in their faces; it was sickening to see the lack of empathy or respect to the dead. With a grimace she turned on the dvd player, she couldn’t bare to carry on watching it. She went to the small stack they had, her annoyance plain plain to see, whatever had interrupted the moment had best have been important. “It doesn’t matter Ben… I’ll tell you later…”

She picked out the Matric, partly because she felt like something to distract her for a few hours, partly because she liked to see Keanu Reeves in leather… turning the light off and turning the bedside lamp on she climbed back into the bed and lay back with closed eyes and a hurt look on her face as she tried to unsuccessfully block it all out.

Finally, he had grabbed his cellphone- the caller ID said Mato.
Hell. He used to dream about getting called up by her, asking him out to a date. Now he was just glad she was able to call at all. He took a deep breath, then he recieved the call.

-------------

Less than five minutes later, he was a bit more certain. Both Mato and Seras had survived... the others- it was unclear as of now.
With that, he tossed the phone back onto the nightstand they had and pulled Maia into an embrace, once again, holding her wrists gently with his hands.

"Mato called... she`s okay, and Seras is, too. " He didn`t tell her about the rest. Good news were better than bad ones. They had their fair share of bad news for now.
His chin sunk onto her shoulder, and he closed his eyes for a moment, not saying anything.
Then, he spoke up.
"Remember when we were up on that ferris wheel, and i was holding you close to help you aim..? I... kind of liked that. It was an awesome feeling, being up so high in the air, empowered with that big rifle and your hand in mine..."

Maia smiled “it’s great to hear some good news…”, she felt good with the closeness they were sharing, her eyes opened as she pulled him against her in a desperate need filled hug.
Her face was calm for once, it had no scowl on it and after the smile faded and her eyes closed again she looked at peace. Her eyes closed, Maia was happy just to feel him against her. It was going to be a chilly night, and without any obvious radiators then they would simply have to cuddle, she was fine with that by any standard.

“It was a good feeling, feeling you gripping me like that; you were like some sort of god of war then. I have never been prouder of anyone or anything, and I think that if my parents were still alive they would have approved of you my dear~ you’re a good man with a good heart… and I think I couldn’t have picked a better person to hunt down the Undead with” the last bit was an afterthought, to try and make it seem a little less strange.

"Its a bit chilly without a shirt on." Ben commented, grinding a bit against her body in an attempt to warm up. It wasn`t so bad, of course, he just took a shower and felt a bit chilly, but it wasn`t anything seriously uncomfortable. He was far too satisifed with this situation for that. They were on the verge of apocalypse, and he was feeling fine.

Bringing his lips to her neck, he gave her a kiss on her jugular- the pulsating blood inside it making his heart catch fire, and he did it again, a bit lower. She tasted good, he decided- even though all he tasted was water from the shower.
His hands moved away from her wrists, and onto her stomatch- toned was an understatement for what that was, her abs felt like they were made of steel, but coated in that silky skin of hers... he couldn´t help but circle a finger around her belly button playfully, before a kiss was planted on her shoulder, on the last bit of exposed skin he could find.
He knew what he was doing, and he didn`t know why he started it.. but it felt good, it felt natural, and he didn`t want to stop.

Maia writhed, she looked him square in the eye and gave a little moan “p..p…please don’t tease me, my belly button.. It’s really sensitive~” she pulled ever so slightly away from him, she gave a long drawn out moan of pleasure as she felt him gently explore her body. She knew she should object, that it wasn’t right, but she couldn’t, it just felt too right for her to put into words.
The Vampire tried to pull away more to get away from the firm yet gentle hands, but she’d turned to jelly, it was as if she was just putty in his hands. So instead her hands went to explore him in turn, her face seemed scared, her eyes wide as her mind tried comprehending what was going on. She thought she had been ready for something like this, yet she was not, not at all. Yet he wasn’t being forceful, and for that she was grateful.

“Ben, I’m sorry, my body’s not that feminine or even that attractive, but hopefully you er… you err like what you are feeling.” She began to tighten and un tighten her muscles, allowing him to feel her muscles writhe beneath her skin while she kissed him gently on the forehead. None of it was unpleasant yet it would take time to get used to it, she’d never been that close to another human before…

Ben merely chuckled at her response and gave her a reassuring pat on the belly.
"Maia, right now, i can`t think of anyone more attractive to me than you. Just relax.. i wouldn`t be doing this if i wouldn`t enjoy it."

With that said, he withdrew his hand from her belly button and let it stroke up her sides- purposely avoiding her breasts and instead stroking across her arm, which he could swear was more muscular than his own. At least it seemed like it, with her smaller frame and bodybuild.
His free hand merely coiled around her waist and pulled her closer, his lips were nipping on her earlobe playfully- funny enough, none of their clothes had come off so far, and it was interesting to see how long that would stay that way.

The like "I know Kung Fu" rang in his ear from the TV, and he held back a laugh at the cheesyness of it.

She almost squirmed at how gentle he was being, she had wanted this for a long time, she just hadn’t realised how desperate she had been for intimacy. She held back a giggle as he stroked her muscular yet silky tummy; her laughter was deep and throaty with excitement at his sudden burst of affection. But rather than pull away like before she went into it, it felt like she was a young girl, fooling around for the first time in a marriage bed with her new husband after a long day of preparing and hymns and finally a meal. But it was better than that, the situation was worse but the fact it was with Ben seemed to make up for anything else that could have been wrong with it.

“I’m pleased to hear that you find me pretty,” she almost gave out a little scream as he traced her waist with his gentle fingers. Every touch seemed to drive her mind insane; it was a mixture of heady sights and smells, with the feeling of his hands on her stomach and waist, the smell of his hair, and finally the smooth strokes of his warm limbs enfolding her drove her to bliss. Touching each other more intimately would happen on its own, but for now she was happy, and she hoped he was as well, to simply explore with clothes on… At least as she grew used to it… Maia gasped, the feeling of him on her ear lobe widened her eyes, her own arms wrapped around his waist as if to steady herself. It was a sensory assault to say the least.

Ben`s hands now found themselves stroking the clothed parts of her body as well- her upper legs, her chest- and, after some restraint, he found his way to her breasts, touching them tenderly and carefully, as if he was worried about hurting her. In reality, he was worried he might go too far for her, but as it seemed, she was more than willing to let him pass. Even with her muscular body, they felt soft, small enough to wrap his hands around, but incredibly fun to play with.

A gasp escaped his throat, brushing hot against her neck, before his tongue licked down her jugular in a smooth motion.

"Maia... what were you going to say, earlier?" He asked- given her reactions so far, he had a fair idea of what she was trying to tell him, but he really wanted to hear it from her, firsthand. He wanted to confirm a hunch he had been following since he came to the hotel.

She squirmed as he began to play with her clothed form, the tight fittingness of them left practically nothing to the imagination… she grimaced as another wave of sensation hit her. It was unhinging; it was like he had found a key into her head that left her open and vulnerable to him. She held his head against her neck with wide open eyes, her breaths short and shallow, full of excitement and the promise that the situation brought with it.
Tears came to her eyes, a man, not just any man though… he was hers, he was brave and handsome. Yet despite her effeminate and muscular appearance he thought her beautiful, her tears started to fall. She pulled away, burying herself in the covers the Jewish woman sobbed.

“I… I love you, yet I can’t do it, I’m not good enough for you, you deserve far better than me Ben…” her tears grow in intensity, her shoulders wracked. “I’m not as pretty as Mato or my proportions aren’t as perfect as Seras… so why me? I don’t deserve this moment yet you are being so tender, I’ve never felt so much pleasure or been so enamoured by someone’s caresses… nor as e..e..excited by someone’s advances…” her voice broke off at the end… she couldn’t think of what to say, her cheeks were red, her eyes slightly puffy. So she tried to hide herself, she tried to bury herself against him with her wet cheeks, but nothing could get rid of the happiness tinged with the fear of rejection… she would be nothing if he refused her now. It was too much.

So he was right. He`d been right, and yet, he wasn`t sure if that was a good thing, seeing Maia burst out in tears like this, soaking his upper body... his hands stopped to explore her, and instead Ben took her shoulder, pushing her off slightly.

"Maia.. hey, Maia... ! Stop.. please stop crying." One of his hands ran through her hair, the raven black mane feeling like noble silk inbetween his fingers- while the other raised her chin a little, to make her look at him.

"Its fine. Mato might be pretty and Seras might be too, but you´re perfect in my eyes. I don`t love Seras or Mato. I love you." It took some serious effort to bring that out, but he just let his mind go blank and tell what he wanted to tell. In hindsight, he went up red like a cherry and closed his eyes the moment it was out, but he wasn`t going to retreat now. Not now, no more.

He charged, forward. His lips met hers.

It seemed to take forever for their lips to meet, the tears stopped as he spoke, his words bringing with them a savage depth of joy that went through her entire body. She smiled into the kiss, her mouth opening under his to allow him access. The recent events had left her tender, raw even, but now everything looked a little better just because there would be someone there to hold her hand through it all in future.

She pulled away from the kiss.
She gave him a teary smile as she wiped her eyes.

He loved her, he thought she was beautiful, it was a lovely night, but most of all they were together and alive. For once she felt no fear, for once she didn’t feel paranoid or scared of what might happen… it was all because he held her there in the darkness of the room while some crappy Keanu reeves acting went on in the background. “It makes me happy that you feel that way… I would’ve said earlier but I wasn’t ready….” She reached for the remote and turned off the tv. “So what were you doing to me before we confessed our feelings, it sent me weak kneed… can… can we do that again?” Her voice was quiet and stuttery, but in the dark it didn't matter.

Ben smiled, bright and honest, and nodded slowly, kissing her forehead briefly. He was sure, from somewhere, Vanessa smiled too, seeing how he finally got over that night that he died. He could kiss Maia without remembering it.

"Yeah, i guess so. But... it would feel better without anything on."

A cheeky grin later, his hands came up on her midriff and his fingers tucked under her shirt, before pulling it up, without a warning, over her head. This time, he didn`t close his eyes- and with the night lamp on the bed the only lightsource in the room, she looked even more stunning than he would`Ve imagined. Embracing her gently, their skin touched, sending a wave of comfort and desire through his body- and soon enough, he did the same he did to her shirt, to her shorts.

For the rest of the night, he didn`t think about what happened at Hellsings. For now, the night was theirs.

Maia was breathless, she still had no clothes on after his gentle dressing down of her, and she didn’t complain… it had been everything that she had expected it to be and far more. Now the telly was back on with Keanu Reeves rescuing Morpheus, she gave a little throaty chuckle. It was good, just lying there meant the world to her, there was a dull aching in her loins though it was more than pleasurable… for their first time it was definitely an experience.

She kissed his neck as she snuggled up into his shoulder, this was perfection. His body was tough yet not overly so, having just a small trace of fat to make it soft to her touch. Her hand was placed on his chest over his heart; she gave a small sigh and grinned up at him. “Was it special as special for you as it was for me? F..for my first time it w..was great… I’m still trembling” Maia gave a nervous giggle “would you like a drink?” she tilted her head, exposing her pulsing jugular… maybe if he drained some of her blood then she wouldn’t look quite so crimson.

Ben woke when harmful rays of the sun were burning on the side of his cheek- nothing bad yet, just a sunburn, but it was enough to make him jerk awake, jump out of bed and check the curtains.. they were closed, but a gust of wind made them flutter, so Ben decided to close the windows behind them as well.
Hopefully that was all they would see of the sun today, the afternoon was a mild one, a summer day- for a minute, Ben forgot about what they saw in the news yesterday. A grim feeling biled up in his stomatch as he did, and he sat back on the bed, next to Maia, who seemed to be completely curled up in a bedsheet, to check his cellphone- and put some fricking pants on.

Maia stretched, rubbing sleep out of her eyes she patted Ben on the back while she got out of bed to get dressed herself in her spare set of street wear, her normal stuff would take a while to dry still so that was the best she could do at the moment. “Getting out of bed is always the worst” she gave a small moan, she was slightly chafed and despite the healing process she suspected it would be one of those things that stayed sore for most of the day. The Jewish Vampire went and sat next to Ben on the bed after getting fully dressed, the sweet caress of the bed sent a shiver up her spine, the bed still felt warm and very inviting.
“Yesterday was pretty bad, hopefully things won’t be that bad when we get there, we have to keep going and hope everyone get to safety…”
She was trying to convince the both of them, Maia had seen things like this and they were devastating. In the long run things would go back to normal, but things had started moving and chances are things were going to get a lot more dangerous a lot more quickly. “Listen, things are going to be hectic and we have no idea if there are going to be anyone trying to take advantage so be on your guard and no wandering off for either of us. Especially if you are going to go unarmed, understand?”

Ben nodded, almost tempted to salute. "Yes, of course. A mistake of that kind could get us killed, now that Hellsing is crippled we can`t expect backup of any kind."
Not going with backup wasn`t much different from the situation now, but the fact that even if they wanted to, they couldn´t call for help was a definite shiver down the spine.
He looked down to his phone again, but then tucked it away and shook his head.
"No calls from anyone else. I suppose they`re busy trying to work out who`s alive and who isn`t..." A sick joke at probably the wrong time, but Ben didn´t care a lot about it. All he did was take Maia´s hand and pull her into an embrace to make sure that the day they spent together in bed wasn´t a nightmare, like the situation at the Hellsing mansion was.

Hugging Ben Maia felt her calmness return, she exhaled before pulling away and ruffling Ben's hair. Sighing, the female vampire went to the radiator to check on her coat and other bits and bobs. They were dry and warm, she flashed Ben a smile and a little something else as she bent down to a right angle to pick up her fresh pair of panties from the radiator before slowly slipping them on, placing emphasis on the slow part.
She quickly got the rest of her clothes on after that, her weapons were checked and double checked while her webbing was given a once over to make sure that everything was still inside of them.
"Are you ready to get going Ben? It's not too sunny outside from the looks of things so we can go and get in the car... unless you want to wait 'til sundown to avoid it completely?"

As Mato had parked the bike in front of the hotel, she quickly looked at the number she got from the hotel service and went up the stairs- fifth floor. Jesus. As if they couldn`t use the ground floor. And of course, no elevator... which meant she had to hike all the way up there, just to see that they were probably out already....

Except when she reached the door, it was locked. That peaked her interest. So she gave it a firm set of knocks, before speaking up. "Hey, are you two in there? Its me."

------

Hearing that, Ben looked over to Maia and chuckled a little.
"I guess that answers that question... sounds like Mato. Should we let her in?"
With that said, he already headed to the door to get it open, they were both dressed and decent, so nothing bad should happen.... though she would probably still comment on the two of them being in a single hotel room.
