PostSubject: Nathania Giovanni [Complete]   Sat Sep 21, 2013 11:31 pm

Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? If not please direct your attention to youtube, and watch OVA 1-4 at least. Warning: If you have watched the anime we require you watch the OVA, or read the manga. The anime is not canon. This is not our opinion. This is the law set down by the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano.
Yes indeedily-doo, I have. Above and beyond, I should say.

Name: Nathania Giovanni.

Age: Twenty-eight years of age.

Gender: More woman than you can handle.

Physical appearance: She would seem to be nothing more than a pretty woman, if it wasn't for the fact that the left side of her head is bald and covered in old scars which she often prefers to wrap over with bandages, if not a mask of any sort. To highlight such a intimidating feature she has a kind of scowl almost always placed upon her lips. The rest of her hair that is left is a mass of messy, uneven black waves that frame over the right side of her head, the longest of pieces reaching to her shoulders.

Nathania's skin is tan and olive-toned, her one good eye is a light shade of hazel surrounded by a fan of massive black lashes. The other is the same color, but concealed by a milky film, as she cannot see from that eye. Considered to be a giant amongst most Italian woman, she stands at a towering 5'9''. Her build is that of a more athletic female, there is definitely muscle present on her body for her to be able to carry a weapon that weighs roughly 50 lbs.

Spoiler:

Clothing of choice: While Nathania does not attempt to draw attention to herself, it seems almost hard to not notice her as she saunters around town with her head wrapped in bandages and the rest of her covered in layers of latex and fishnet. The majority of her wardrobe is only the remnants of her past career, some pieces modified for better use in the battlefield. Her favorite, however, is a simple black, sleeveless latex catsuit and a pair of plain lace-up, steel toe combat boots which she purchased not long after her Uncle began training her.

Included to all of this and only used in battle situations, would be her SGE-400 gas mask.

Spoiler:

Weaponry of choice:
ROKS-3

Spoiler:

Has a range of 30 yards and can fire around 6 to 7 bursts with a full tank. The tank holds up to 3 gallons of gasoline.

AN-M18 [Smoke grenades.]

Spoiler:

She keeps these in a thigh holster that holds four of them at a time. The smoke within the ones that she uses is a violet color. The pull-pin fuse has a delay of one to two seconds. For throwing, on average, a good toss from an average soldier can send them flying for about 35 meters [114 feet], and at most, the smoke will last for a good minute and a half.

ASEK [Aircrew survival egress knife.]

Spoiler:

Another of her weapon's kept in a thigh holster, this knife is strapped to her on her left leg, opposite of the smoke grenades. The blade made from carbon steel and coated with zinc phosphate to avoid rusting, the blade itself is five inches, but from end to end, it is about ten inches long with the handle included.

Race: Human.

Abilities: Nathania is a decently strong girl. At most, she can lift about a little more than her own body weight, but she can easily carry around her 50 lb weapon. Amazingly enough, she can even manage to run at a good speed while wearing high heels, and even better if she's flat footed.

Organization: Hellsing.

Personality: At her best, Nathania has the constant look of annoyance. The scowl on her face would almost seem permanent if it wasn't for her occasional moments when she attempts to smile, but even that appears scary to most. She's not a hateful person, rather she has a very hard time showing whatever there may be to the lighter side of her personality.

While she may try to joke with her own comrades every once in a while, the female is not one for conversations or small talk. She does not do it to be mean most of the time, Nathania just enjoys picking on the ones closest to her, but this does not mean that she won't point out the flaws of a stranger for the sake of being honest. Always quick to judge new people, she'll be sure to let someone know if they are not on her good side.

Rank: Field Agent.

Biography: Despite being born into a strict Catholic family in Genoa, Italy, school and God were low on her list of priorities. Constantly nagged at by the teachers for her less-than-satisfactory grades and attitude, but it was more than often her fiery habits were what caused her to be in the most trouble. It was no surprise to her peers that whenever the trash bins in the girl's restrooms were set ablaze that it was the cause of young Nathania. It became so much of a problem that she was required to have her bags checked for the presence of matches or any flammable substance.

Scolded constantly by the nuns and the priest for her habits, she would make her feeling towards them very obvious. This normally resulted in more punishment and sometimes her mouth being filled with soap to the point of being able to burp up bubbles for weeks. The schools, the nuns, the priests, the teachings. They just knew exactly how to piss her off.

Her poor parents prayed for her non-stop, sending her from one strict school to another. Eventually, it had grown to the point where they feared they could no longer care for the child, and at the age of fourteen she was enrolled to a new school and sent to live in Scotland with her Uncle Endres. The man was one of the more confusing people that she had encountered. He had a good habit of disappearing for long periods of time and returning with injuries, most of which were never too serious. Times likes those when he went away were the ones were she sought out to drink and be merry with the local misguided youth.

A thing she had grown to notice while staying in his home and being nosy was the large amount of weapons he seemed to be hiding in a small, locked room. Luckily for Nathania, she already knew how to pick locks. Despite the chances of getting scorned for such actions, she would often take a gun or two out into the wooded area behind his room and shoot at random, mostly just at rocks and small animals. Although guns bored her, she already knew she was walking on a thin line for taking his guns, so she would leave the explosives in that room. But she took a lot of her indoors time to sitting and studying them, reading the books.

By the time she had reached sixteen, she had grown weary of the Scottish countryside and her strange uncle's ways, not to mention the boring religious teachings of a school that had a knack for condemning her in any way possible. It was another of Endres' trips that gave her the opportunity to pack her things and set out on the road.

Not too long after her trekking, she found herself in the Grey City, Aberdeen. This is where the good majority of her troubles began. In-and-out of the dingy clubs that were only meant for a certain kind of dancing, Nathania found herself wrapped up in ugly situations of getting fired whenever she managed to beat the hell out of a customer whom she considered to be too grabby. She never stayed unemployed for too long, however. There seemed to be a high demand for teenage runaway types.

A turning point came just a couple of years later, when she was nineteen and working in a more... upscale location. After a mishap in her act, which involved a bottle of alcohol and some matches, she was rushed to the hospital with a badly burned face, the inability to see from her left eye, and a pink slip from the club.

A week alone in the hospital and growing more restless with every day, it was after that time she that she finally had her first visitor. It was her Uncle Endres, and he had come bearing some rather strange news. The truth, he wanted to explain, was that he was a part of a very unusual group. And nor even just that, but a high-payed group at that. The seemingly random string of murders along the countrysides, all done by their group. A "mission", as he put it.

He never even had to ask her, but from the time she left the hospital a couple of weeks later, he began to train her as a member of their own group. In the beginning, she stuck with simple guns and avoided all explosives. She never wanted to admit it, but burning her own face was possibly one of the most frightening moments in her life.

On her twenty-first birthday, she received a present from the group. The ROKS-3 flame thrower. At first, this had only angered her. It felt almost as if they were mocking her accident, that terrible ordeal. But her uncle had a word with her about it. It wasn't meant as an insult, but as a tribute. Fire seemed to play an important part in her life. It may have backfired once, but it was something she survived. It was her own story of coming through hell. She played in the fires and was now given their power. At least in a way.

A couple of years later, at a mission which had them placed in a church nowhere in particular, Nathania was busy gathering papers from their archives when she heard a struggle from above. Climbing carefully up the stairs, crouching in the stairway and peering above the top, she saw the most curious thing. Priests, many of them, and they were fighting their group. The holy men were firing guns, battling with her people. She could hardly believe what she was watching, so much so that she was nearly too stunned to do anything.

Snapping out of her own thoughts, the girl shoved the papers away in her bag and leaped into action. A smoke bomb here and a few blasts from her flame thrower, and she manage to make it away from the church, now a mess of smoke, flying bullets and flames beginning to climb up the walls. She never waited for anyone, instead, she ran as fast as she could manage into the nearest woods behind the church. When she felt safe enough, she collapsed behind a tree and caught her breath, deciding to wait there for a few hours before attempting to turn back.

Several hours later, she trekked backwards from her original path and found only the burnt skeleton of a church left standing. Shifting through the charred remains, she found only several bodies burnt into nothings. The remains of her uncle and his comrades. With nothing there left her her to do, she took her leave and moved on before anyone could find her at the scene.

Through their failed mission, however, Nathania still had the archive papers that she took from the building. She fled back home, to her uncle's residence and hid there for a long time. She didn't dare leave out of grief for her lost comrades and even fear that she would perhaps meet the same fate. But after sorting through all of her uncle's paperwork and sorting through his old contacts, she came into an agreement with a new group who was recruiting. The job seemed simple enough and the location wasn't too horrible. So off to London she headed where she found her place among inside the Hellsing Organization,

RP sample: With the tip of her ASEK wedged up underneath the end of her index finger's nail, her eye watching intently as she used the tip to slide the dirt out from under the tip of her fingernail. It was one of those dirty little habits that was a sign of boredom. By the way her eyebrows pushed together, wrinkling the skin above her nose, the muscles pulling so tight that her top lip curled up in a snarl, her front teeth bared, anyone could tell that she was simply not in a good mood.

Though at first she had tried to ignore the unpleasantness, now as time had past she seemed it would just be better to go through the laundry list of things that pissed her off the most right now. The first being that she was standing on a dock in the middle of the night. This was not her choice in any way. There was a meeting arranged, a meeting of some loonies from some random small group that wanted to exchange information. The place and time of meeting wasn't her idea, it was the choice of the outsiders, and it was a stupid choice at that. But rather than argue and cause an unwanted fight, she went along with the orders to meet them. For the sake of the group.

Twisting her head up as a noise hit her ear, she only growled quietly to see that it was a pelican landing on the other side of the dock. It almost seemed tempting to walk up to the overgrown bird and snap its neck, but she would resist that urge for the time being. Instead, she turned her head back to the duty of cleaning the dirt out of her nails.

Another thing that happened to annoy her on this lovely evening was the fact that she was standing on the dock, in the middle of the night, and she was wearing an eye patch. A black leather patch covered her bad eye. Normally, she would have just worn her bandages, but it was at the suggest of her leader to just put a patch on and trying to look inconspicuous. If anyone even tried to make a pirate joke at her, heads would roll.

"Are you the greeter?" Behind her, a man's voice had called out. Twisting her head around slowly, the woman tucked her blade back into the holster on her thigh, avoiding any sudden movements. That was another thing that had managed to make her very angry, her lack of weapons. While she was told not to bring anything, to just wait for back-up if anything happened, there was no way in hell she could agree with that. She could leave behind her biggest piece, but the smoke grenades and her blade remained on her body, no questions asked.

Nathania eyed the skinny man up and down for a long moment, staring at him sideways as he stood a few feet away from her on the creaky planks of the dock. "You're Zampano?" She asked back at him, keeping her voice low, her chin tucked down to her chest as she observed him. He had to have been at least two inches shorter than herself, and not even a bit of muscle. At least she didn't feel any threat.

"It is just a code name," the man explained, holding out his hand for her. She stared at it with the same contempt as she gave the annoying pelican only a few minutes earlier, her tanned arms folding over the front of her chest. Sighing, the man pulled his hand back. "We wanted to talk with the your group about your... cause. You see, we are of a similar nature, but we lack funding at the moment, so we seek a sort of alliance," reaching into his pocket, Nathania eyed him hard, cautious of his movements as he pulled something from his pocket, a pack of cigarettes and a zippo lighter.

"I'm listening," she threw in with a nod of her head, curly black hair bouncing with her movements. Pushing the cigarette into his mouth, he laughed weakly. "Orphanages," he mumbled. Raising her brow, Nathania only replied with silence, waiting for him to finish. "Our main target are the orphanages run by the Catholic churches. It's how they receive many of their clergy, taking them while they're young. It's almost like stopping the problem at it's source. Kill them young and they can't grow up to corrupt."

With the lit cigarette now in his mouth, he tucked the lighter away into his pocket. "So what you're trying to tell me is, you kill orphans and you want our help?" Her lips drawn into a straight line, she tried to not make it obvious that she was grinding her teeth together inside of her mouth. Underneath her, she could hear the faint lapping sounds of waves hitting the pillars under the docks. This "Zampano", he nodded his head, blowing a plume of smoke from his mouth.

Sighing, Nathania lowered her arms to her side, resting her palms against her hips as she glared over the the man. She would have to be professional towards this if she wanted to avoid an ugly situation. "I'm sorry, but your cause doesn't seem very fitting towards our group. I'm going to have to decline your offer, you have a good night," she finished with a dismissive wave, turning her back on the man as she began her walk off of the dock. Behind her head, she could hear a metallic "click", a very loud and familiar noise. Turning her head back to look at him over her shoulder, she faced the barrel of a gun pointed straight at her head. She looked up from there, trailing his arm all the way up to the frown on his face. "I thought we agreed to no weapons," she said flatly. It didn't sound like it, but she was almost attempting humor. Her eyebrows winkled together once again, that same scowling look.

"Now that you are aware of our group and what we do, since our offer has been declined, we just can't let the you walk away with that knowledge," the hand holding the gun shook ever so slightly. If he was scared or cold, she couldn't tell. Maybe it was both, but that mattered very little. Her list of unhappiness was just getting longer. Now she was stuck on a dock in the middle of the night, wearing an eye patch, lacking her favorite weapon, and having a gun pointed at her by an idiot.

Staring eye to eye with this moron, Nathania's hand kept silently down to the holster at her side, silently pulling open the flap as she curled her fingers around the handle of her blade. It had only taken a second for him to notice what she was doing, but that was all the time she needed. Swiftly, she pulled up the blade and swung it in his direction, tossing it towards him as he pulled the trigger and fired the gun. Jumping back, Nathania threw herself into the cold, dirty water below the surface of their meeting spot. Paddling frantically to the other side of the dock where she could hear the man above her cursing loudly and groaning. From the cracks in the wood, she watched him pull her knife out of his shoulder and throw it onto the floor. He reached into his coat, pulling out a cell phone and flipping it open, but as he looked down, he caught her eye staring at him from under the dock.

"You bitch!" He spat, pointing the gun down and emptying a couple of shots down in her direction. Going below the surface, she swam towards one of the pillars, only fast enough to dodge one of the bullets, the other grazing her left leg. Grinding her teeth once again, she was able to watch from in the shadows as he searched through the cracks in the wood trying to find her again. She searched for some sort of opening, anything she could get as she waited for the back-up to finally arrive. On his hands and knees, he crawled around, his eye placed on the cracks as he continued his quest to find her.

From over the edge of the dock, she could see a small triangle of fabric dangling off of the ledge. It was part of his coat hanging off of the dock. That would be good enough for her. Taking a deep breath, she dove under the water again, swimming over to the end of the dock. Without waiting another second, she jumped up from the water, snatching onto the end of his coat and and tugging as hard as she could manage. The man slid back and into the water he splashed, his gun firing at random once again and hitting nothing. Off in the distance, she could hear the sirens wailing, probably heading in her direction as well.

Under the water, she groped around for his hand, looking to grab the gun from him at any cost, but before she could get a good grip on it, she found his free hand curled inside of her hair, pulling her backwards and underneath the surface. Failing wildly, she trashed in his general direction, anything as long as she could hit him and catch her breath for a second. This had to be over soon, before anyone could get there, and hopefully before she could be killed. Soon enough, she finally landed a kick to his stomach. The grip around her hair had loosened and she was able to pull up to the surface. As she made a quick gasp for air, the man fought to keep his head above the water as he coughed and groaned. A puddle of red had formed in the water around them. Some of it from the knife wound in his shoulder, and some from the bullet graze on her leg.

Distracted at last, Nathania snatched the gun from his hand. He went to grab for her again, but with the barrel of the gun, she smacked the side of his hide. He splashed about in the water in pain, him now the one trashing about for his freedom. His struggling soon can to an end as the final shot rung out from the docks, a close-range bullet to the head and he was floating face down in the water.

Panting hard, she crawled up the little step ladder at the side of the dock, flopping onto the wooden surface for a second just to catch her breath. The sirens were closer and she had to get out of there. Tucking the gun into the side of her boot and picking up her knife and placing it back into her holster, she reached for her phone, opening it and dialing a number as she limped away from the dock. "The meeting is over," she announced into the phone, stopping for a second to look at the pelican who was still sitting soundly on one of the dock pillars, looking down right at her. "I think it went pretty well."

Can't say anything bad about this, so I'm just listing trivia.

I want something about battle and why she chooses to carry a flamethrower instead of a regular weapon.

The creators of Teen Titans originally intended to keep Terra's romantic relationship with Deathstroke, like in the comics, but had to reduce it to implication because it was too mature for Cartoon Network, even though Terra (and, by extension, the rest of the cast) have no definite age past "teen". A Judas Contract movie was planned at one point, but was later shelved.

Found an ability in there: Lockpicking.

Also, I gather that the uncle decided to train her because of how she managed to survive on her own and make it through being burned alive. If that isn't the case, then an explanation is needed.

Only thing left is the abilities.

it would not seem that you have edited. If you can please make some changes, we can get your sheet approved sooner.

So far I like how this is going. She has a personal vendetta with Section XIII from the sounds of it and it isnt too far fetched!

I would love to see if you could go into more details about her abilities though. She is a strong woman and can run great distances and lift her own weight. I know you can flesh this out a bit and it can work greatly with her personality. Try not to make an object; make a being. You can incorperate free running into this OC no problem and it would match her personality like a charm.

Keep giving the good stuff!

With no disrespect meant, but there has been no apparent activity from the account with which this application was posted and it seems likely this application may never see completion.

This application will be moved to the disapproved section on account of lack of apparent response.
