PostSubject: For when the hunter becomes the hunted   Fri Aug 23, 2013 2:35 pm

Another day, another vampire attack- and Christie was hot on its tail. The enemy has fled the scene, his minions were taken care of, now it was time to strike the main target. He really gave chase- through a subway tunnel, into a populated area of midtown London, through a train and finally into the one place where he thought he´d be safe- the Hyde Park, where many, many more of his kind were headed during the day to hide from the humans, and where many of his kind were hunting at night.
Unfortunely for him, Christie knew this and kept track of him, and him specifically.

As soon as she entered the park, she had her revolver at the ready, loaded and cocked, and took a glance behind every tree, looking out for every single step that was made in the area, knowing of the potential danger.
What she didn´t know was that there was a werewolf in this place as well, and that he was hunting the same target.

Prowling through night in his wolf form Gile was testing the strengths of his new found youngling abilities by tracking worth while prey. Prey that would be interesting to kill. And by the smell of it there was a couple of these creatures around that could pose very fun to fight with.

Slinking low and making barely a whisper in the night he looked up to see that far down the line there was a creature whom was running. Running? From what? Ah well, that didn't matter. He would soon find out. Charging forward with amazing speed he quickly overcame the creature who had been fleeign from something, or by the smell and sound of a heart beat. Someone...Though why a vampire was fleeing from a human. He was not sure. The vampire turning to look at the great beast as he charged him stopped and in panic was about to throw a punch at the creature.

Gile expecting this jumped to the side and as the creature exposed it's neck he reached out with his mouth and latched on to it. Quickly chomping through through this pathetic walking corpses flesh and and then as he landed he pulled upward and with his paws kept the body of the creature down thus completely and utterly destroying him as he ripped it's head from it's body.

Gile spit out the remnants of the creature as he switched into his hybrid form preparing for another attack by one of this vampires colleagues. Looking up into the full moon Gile howled mockingly as he saw the vampire charge him with a knife, not. Made of silver. The creature swung at him a couple of times and each time Gile side stepped out of the weapon's arc now truly enjoying playing with his enemy. He smiled as the vampire changed tactics and stabbed Gile with the blade. The blade did manage to penetrate through Gile's metal like skin by a bit. Gile using this to his advantage grabbed the hand as it's weapon pierced his flesh a bit. Holding this creature in a death grip he gave him no chance to escape as he yanked the arm nearer and grabbed hold of the creatures neck which he threw to the ground swiftly. Then with the other hand letting go of the creatures he began to pulverize the creatures skull into the ground. Not aware of the last of his comrades approaching him from behind with a shot gun.

Christie was a bit shocked to see something different than a vampire approaching the scene... a werewolf, proud and large, though not very old yet judging on how he appeared to be. She´d gotten the briefings and got to know how she could tell younglings and elders apart by the pattern and colors of their furr as well as their behavior, and this was no elder.

Of course, he killed her target effortlessly, but lured out the rest of the bunch, the park quickly filling with potential targets... she was stunned for a second by the violence he induced to the park, but refocused as she saw a vampire wielding a shotgun aiming at the Lycan from behind.
Zip.
Bam.
Bam.
Without even thinking she brought up her revolver in the twitch of an eye and double-tapped the trigger, the two mercury filled hollow points impacting the jugular and forehead of the vampire, killing him brutally, but quickly. This made her a threat to the vampires, who began to rush towards her in an attempt to take her out. As if the bright yellow Hellsing uniform wasn`t enough of a giveaway.
Bam, bam, bam. Three rounds left the chamber, and another vampire bit the dust, followed by a second who came up behind him and got hit by a spray of mercury exiting his friends body.
Two more from the right- she spun towards them as they leaped out at her- two shots in each of their chests later, dust hit her face rather than a mauling, semi human behing.
One bullet left in the cylinder, she turned back to the Werewolf.
.... should she do it? He wasn`t the target, and she knew better than to underestimate a werewolf, under any cirumstance.

Hmm. Interesting. Gile looked up from the body had destroyed to see the creature filled with bullet holes. In fact the bullet's appeared quite powerful by the looks of what happened to this creature. Something the ordinary person did not carry with them. Gile looked outwards to the human who slaughtered the vampires with her gun. This saddened him a bit as the fun lessened with each death of a vampire. But, this was rather interesting to see this human killing these creatures. Perhaps they hadn't been as deadly as he had thought. Certainly these must be a low cast of vampires.

Gile switching back to his human form looked up to see the woman who he had most likely saved pointing a gun at him. He responded to this by saying.

"You know, It's rather rude to point a gun at someone. Especially one who saved your life."

Gile smiled confident in his own abilities. The bullet was most likely silver and designed to kill him but she probably only had one or two left in that gun, and odds were that he would be able to dodge that bullet.

Though for now. He awaited her reaction. Peaceful? Or Violent. She would decide how this meeting went.

Christie wasn`t a fool. Lowering a gun just because the creature told her to- no way. She kept it trained on him, despite the lack of violence coming from him.
"Saved? I came here on my own, you know. I came to kill vampires- like the ones you and i killed here. Small fry, but they would still be enough to murder an entire city."
Her radio clicked and over some static, she could hear her superior.
"Stratford, come in please. Requesting Sitrep."
Slowly slowering her left hand, while keeping the right to hold the revolver, she brought her radio up and pressed the send button.
"Status is mission accomplished. Vampire and... various friends of his were exterminated. I`ll report in detail later, in the middle of something here."
"Copy that. Standing by for EVAC."
Christie turned her attention back to the wolfman, who still stood there- he wasn´t going to make a move, so she lowered her gun just slightly, pointing it at the ground in front of him.
"...you aren´t going to attack me..?"

Gile still smiling asked her with a normal tone expression no sing of joking.

"And why, would I do that?"

Gile was well aware that his kind were not exactly regarded highly in the area of self control but still. There was no actual reason for him to go around killing innocent people. In fact he wouldn't enjoy that at all. He then turned his back to girl next to him not waiting for an answer. He called back as he left.

"Nice shooting by the way."

He slowly walked back towards the city that she was supposed to be protecting. Partly just to taunt her and partly because he wanted a coffee.

He really wasn´t going to attack her, or he wouldn´t turn his back on her like that, moving away towards the city. While she was sure it was unecessary, she still opened the cylinder lock and ejected the empty shells, putting seven new ones inside as well as the one she had left, before closing it and putting the piece back into its holster.

"...thats odd. Most werewolves i`ve seen take pleasure in killing a strong foe... and i`ve killed four vampires right in front of you." Christie mentioned, slowly following him. It was intriguing, and she was slightly curious about his motives.

"You had no problems doing that to the vampires... or are you not interested in human prey?"
She wasn`t exactly sure what he was up to, but either way it was best to follow him into the city. If worst came to worst, she could call for backup there and they´d be there in a moment´s notice.

Walking down the road towards he turned his head towards the woman as she asked him these questions. He couldn't say that he blamed her. Most were wolves he had met acted the same way...He supposed it would be only natural to be curious about the odd ball who didn't act like them all. Though curious and friendly were two different things. He noticed that she had reloaded her gun and he would be aware of this and not let himself be caught by surprise if she decided to pull it out and finished her job. Then again, he couldn't actually blame her for being wary around him. Probably why she was still alive.

He responded to her calmly.

"Well, I suppose I would be a liar if I said that I didn't enjoy killing a strong enemy. But there is a key in word in there. Enemy. You aren't an enemy, of mine, or at least not so far as I can see. Plus, remember. I was human at one point. This change is rather recent. And being a wolf creature doesn't actually destroy your free wil. Most people you come across, even humans, probably have about as weak of will's as they come now a days. It doesn't surprise me that those who get turned suddenly think that there above everyone else and can just do whatever they want to them. "
