A lake of radioactive fire is below the fighters. Falling any distance (ANY) beyond ten feet will result in the person being irradiated and burned to ashes. Above, turning platforms constantly move in circles like horizontal windmills. Nothing suspends them. There are six of them in a two high, three wide formation at equal level. They turn relatively fast.

OOC: If it's alright with you Sam, I'd like to label the six platforms 1-6 for the sake of clarity OOC. Starting with Platform 1 in the top left and going numerically in clockwise order. Along with that, since we're in the middle of a radioactive lake I'm assuming that we're both already on the platforms which don't really offer any cover. If you'd like me to make any edits, please let me know.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glancing this way and that, the Hungarian vampire stood in the center of a corner platform (1) with both of his hands in his pockets. Rather than allow himself to be spun about like a top, Almos followed the rotation of the platform to move to a neighboring one, never losing his relaxed gait. Crimson eyes narrowed as the green lake of fire below belched little torrents of heat and flame in the distance. This place was absolutely terrifying by a normal person's standards. However, for the former monk it was rather inviting if only for the sake of curiosity. How did it get here? How did all this work? There was clearly a story here but that would need to wait until he was finished with his newest plaything. He continued moving in his snaking pattern from platform to platform with a predatory smirk on his pale features (1, 2, 3, 6, 5, 4) as his gaze never left his opponent. "Shall we begin then?"

PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyFri Jul 19, 2013 1:32 pm

Samuel kept his eyes focused on his opponent from the corner platform adjacent to his opponents (4 I believe) His handguns were out and ready there was no cover to be had here meaning he'd have a slight advantage. But at the same time he was facing a vampire an adversary he knew he couldn't underestimate under any circumstance. The very way the creature seemed to move without a care was already a testament to how powerful it was likely to be. Cat F or D vampires often showed some caution in combat whereas his current opponent seemed completely relaxed. He took a brief look around with his eyes scowling the place they were fighting was anything but normal he didn't even know how they had come to this place. He shook his head there would be time to think later after his opponent was a pile of ash.

As his opponent drew closer he squeezed off 5 rounds in his direction moving in a circular motion moving from platform to platform hoping to keep his distance advantage for as long as possible.

PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyFri Jul 19, 2013 2:00 pm

Almos had only made it halfway through his snaking pattern (platform 6) when the gunman opened fire. Dropping low against the platform surface, braced with his right hand, Almos evaded the opening salvo of ammunition easily enough. Wasting no time as the man began strafing (likely a counterclockwise path unless you're strafing towards me XD), Almos pushed off from his low stance full force. Charging the gunman, Lorand's confidence was bolstered by their terrain. Each of these disks was about 20 feet in diameter so between his own advance and the other man's strafing there was maybe 40 feet of open space separating them. He could cross that distance in a heart beat while taking care to not slip between the openings between the platforms. Midway in his collision course with the British man, the Hungarian lashed out with his left hand, his cursed chain flying forth from his sleeve with blinding speed even as the vampire came bearing down on the dark haired Brit. The intention was to impale the gunman through his center mass with with spiked end of Enkidu, but the idea of the man dodging the first strike was certainly a possibility. In the event he did, Almos would whip his supernatural weapon back around in a wide arc from the gunman's rear in an attempt to bind the man's arms to his sides.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptySat Jul 20, 2013 4:31 am

(lol oh yeah great idea lemme charge the vampire xD)

Samuel noticed the rounds he'd fired go wild flying off into the distance behind his foe as the vampire evaded the bullets. "Bloody mosquitoes...movin and shite..." Samuel muttered he hated the movement of the platforms each rotation was throwing off his shots. He'd need to adjust to the movement sooner or later. His eyes widened as the vampire quickly began closing the distance between them. Samuel fired off the last 5 shots in his Glock 37 before shoving the gun back into it's holster. He then heard the rattle of chains echo through the air his eyes widened as he dropped to one knee beneath the chain watching as the pointed end flew just inches above his head.

He brought his pistol up and fired off 7 shots from his Glock 17L gripping the firearm with both hands and aiming down the sights before rushing back and jumping the gap to the next platform. He had no intention of getting into a close combat fight if he could help it. He had CQC training but the vampire had superior strength and agility. At the very most he'd be able to repel his opponent and make distance but defeating him in a close combat engagement was out of the question.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptySat Jul 20, 2013 4:04 pm

OOC: I think I might have ya here, Sammy. Have a look at my post and if there's been some kind of misunderstanding we can hash it out in the cbox and I'll edit as needed. I went ahead and included a small diagram to help explain my argument. Red arrow is Traynor and the green is Lorand with the first panel showing the attempted chain stab and the second showing the dodge and return fire.

Spoiler:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The dark haired gunman had impressive skills in shooting and reflexes to match. During his rush, Almos had his own struggles adjusting to the strange footing presented by the platforms and so chose to not try and evade the final five shots from the Glock 37. Or rather, he had no effective means of evading the rounds and was not yet prepared to resort to his Sphere of Desecration just yet. Turning his upper body to the left, Almos presented his right side to the shooter with his right arm bent inward in a shape similar to a backwards L from the British man's perspective to cover his heard and head from any stray shot. The shots seemed to be rushed, having been fired from a strafing shooter adjusting to the environment like his vampiric foe. Two bullets impacted with Lorand's upper right arm and shoulder, a third catching him in his right rib cage while the final two flew off into the distance having missed their mark. The wounds stung badly, drawing a grimace of pain from the Hungarian vampire but proving to be far from fatal or effective in slowing the rage-filled vampire's charge.

To the Brit's further credit, he had managed to avoid the opening strike from Enkidu, albeit just barely. However, the gunman's continued assault would prove to be his undoing. Rather than keep his eyes on the chain circling back around to bind him, the Hellsing member chose to draw another gun from his kneeling position and firing off 7 rounds, this time aiming the weapon with two steady hands. As the seventh round was fired, the returning Enkidu found its mark, tightly wrapping itself around the gunman to pin his arms to his sides and take that pesky pistol work out of play and keep him from running about any longer.

Rather than shirk from the incoming barrage of bullets, the vampire pressed forward with his rush, now bringing his left arm to join his bleeding right appendage and lowering his chin in a tight guard comparable to that of a peek-a-boo boxer. As an added precaution, Almos engaged his trusted Sphere of Desecration to deflect the 7 rounds before they ever reached his physical guard. His altercations with mercenaries like that damn Australian had taught him to be wary of relying solely on one form of defense. With two layers in place, he felt confident to launch his next assault, commanding his cursed chain to simply hurl the gunman back off the platform with supernatural strength. The sadistic vampire was curious to see what sort of effect that evil looking lake would have on a person and unless his new gun wielding friend was hiding the ability to fly in his bag of tricks, gravity would soon ensure that Lorand's curiosity was satiated.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyMon Jul 22, 2013 1:19 am

Samuel's eyes widened as he felt the chain wrap around his arms at the elbow surrounding him a total of three time if he'd counter correctly. He needed to think fast as he felt the chain attempting move him. Moving his forearms together he reached his right hand into his left sleeve and withdrew one of his COP .357 Derringers from the wrist holster on his arm and angled his arm pressing it flush against his body. He felt his body jerk as the chain lifted him up to fling him off the platform like a bag of refuse. Closing his eyes Samuel pulled the trigger letting loose a .357 magnum round. He cried out in pain as the round ripped through the chain. However upon breaking the last chain the round ricocheted pushing it's way into his arm. He slid across the surface of the platform nearly falling over the edge just stopping a few inches shy of it as the chain had been in the act of throwing him.

Quickly getting to his feet Samuel fired the last three shots in his COP .357 at his enemy hoping to catch him off guard. He needed to be more aware of moves like that in this fight he mentally cursed himself for his carelessness as he tossed aside the empty derringer and pulled his Glock 17L from it's holster and began letting loose 3 shots at his enemy. His rate of fire was slower however as he was forced to reacquire his view on the target as the gun kicked in his hand. His left arm was usable but at to use it would be extremely painful at this point. But if he needed to use it he would he'd be damned if he'd be taken out of this fight so early into it. Luckily for Samuel his legs were still operational as he rushed toward his original destination of the next platform over firing his last 7 rounds at the vampire to cover his movement before he jumped the gap nearly falling over as he landed on the rotating platform.

He thrust his Glock 17L back into the holster ejecting the magazine and letting it fall to the floor before reaching into his vest and sliding a new magazine into the gun and un holstering it once more. So far he'd gathered that his enemy had a few objects of interest in his possession. Objects that made him more dangerous than his average foe thus he'd need to be extra careful. His last mistake had nearly gotten him a swim in the wicked lake below him.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyMon Jul 22, 2013 5:26 pm

Much to the vampire's great dismay, this stubborn bastard had managed to blast apart a section of Enkidu holding his tight and thus saved himself from a painful death in the hellish lake below. As the vampire advanced, he was nearly caught dead on by the final three .357 magnums fired by his rising prey. Throwing himself to the right, Lorand rolled with the dodge and came to a stop at the edge of the platform as Traynor tossed aside his now empty weapon. Though he was still on the same platform as his opponent, Almos still had about 20 feet of open air to cross in order to reach the gunman. Having finally achieved a working feel for the gradual rotation of the platforms, Almos was finally able to zero his focus in on Traynor and properly deal with the 3 shots from the Glock17L. Though the gunman was taking greater care with his shots, the substantial decrease in his rate of fire was a massive boon for the vampire who now had all the time in the world to adjust between each bullet. A shift to the right, a low duck and a shift back to the left and up had the vampire back on the balls of his feet and out of harms way.

"Time to die!" the nosferatu roared, taking off at a dead run for his opponent. Once again the British man used gunfire to cover his escape, but this time Lorand decided to use that against him. As the first few rounds came flying in, Almos, nearly parallel to the ground at this point in his run, jerked to the right and snatched up the length of chain that Traynor had shot off only moments before. With these last seven shots having been fired while running, their accuracy suffered slightly against the small, fast moving target. Using the other links wrapped around his lift forearm like a gauntlet, Lorand smacked the sixth round aside just before the seventh clipped his left thigh just as planned. Almos let out a cry of pain as the round hit him and he allowed himself to slide forward and off his current platform.

"Nooooo!" the vampire cried as he apparently fell to is death in the hellish lake below. Playing up the ruse, the vampire went so far as to hurl the severed length of Enkidu into the liquid to create a convincing splash. However, appearances where not as they appeared. As the British gunman leaped from one platform to the next (would have to be platform 2 based on movements described so far), Almos grabbed onto the edge of the platform with both hands, now freed of Enkidu, outstretched. Allowing his momentum to carry his legs forward, he swung them through open air mere feet above the toxic liquid until the balls of his feet made contact with the underside of the platform before sliding his palms down as well. Clinging to the underside of the platform with all four limbs like a vampiric Spiderman, Almos flashed a toothy smile.

The remains of Enkidu had already disappeared in the lake and the gunman's back had been turned when Almos disappeared over the edge of the platform. If all had gone to plan, the Brit would buy into Lorand's ploy and believe that a lucky round had thrown off the vampire's gait and sent him tumbling to his death. Listening closely, Lorand could hear the feint scraping of metal as the human reloaded. The pleasurable smell of blood wafted down from his location and the pitter patter sound of his heart beat was music in the Hungarian's ears. Grinning darkly, Almos crawled quickly across the underside of the platform. Considering that leap the Brit had taken, he'd most likely be in about the center of the platform looking back in the direction he'd come from considering he had a furious vampire on his tail just a moment ago. Relying on the element of surprise, Almos would climb up on the opposite side of the platform and try to catch his prey from behind. With supernatural strength on his side, he could haul himself back on top of the platform at a moment's notice and from there it would be an all out sprint to impale the man from behind. Should the gunman turn around in time to notice the wrath descending upon him, the thrust would need to be shifted into a sloppy swipe at the gun Traynor held. Certainly not pretty enough to be called a proper martial artist's strike but that wasn't exactly necessary when one had raw power on their side now was it?

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyTue Jul 23, 2013 1:47 am

Samuel landed on platform 2 and looked back and saw his 7th shot strike his target causing him to fall and slide off the platform. He quickly moved to the edge of the platform looking down to confirm the kill and seeing something sinking into the burning lake below. For a moment he felt relief was over him but after a moment. His eyes narrowed however as he thought about it for a moment. His enemy had larger mass the splash should have been louder and he was quite sure he should of heard some sort of scream. His eyes panned over the surface of the lake something didn't feel right in his mind. His grip on his Glock tightened as his mind tried to work out any sort of foul play at work here.

His eyes widened as he heard the sound of boots clicking on metal. He quickly whipped around to level his pistol only to have it whipped from his hand. The gun flew off the platform into the burning lake below. The man was right in front of him now face to face. Remembering his training he took a breath and reacted quickly. He needed to remain focused panic would only lead to a quick defeat. The man's sprint had quite a bit of momentum to it meaning Aikido would be his best bet in this engagement. Quickly gripping the man's wrist with his left hand and his humerous (Upper arm just beneath the armpit) while moving his feet to the side to give him more space for the maneuver. He whipped back around placing his back to the center of the platform releasing the man just as he finished his turn. Hopefully the man's momentum would carry him off the platform into the burning lake below. If not he'd need to devise a new strategy but that was only if he lived long enough to plan one.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyTue Jul 23, 2013 8:11 am

This guy was a cautious one alright, carefully examining the lake to try and spy Almos' remains. Obviously, he was mentally sharp enough to figure out the ploy considering just as the vampire had feared, he began turning back around just as Lorand came within striking range. Then again, perhaps "feared" was a poor choice of words as the Hungarian was well-prepared for such an outcome, switching his killing stroke into a satisfying swipe at the Brit's weapon that sent the pesky firearm sailing off into the burning lake. Were those bones he had felt breaking? That blow had originally been intended to pierce straight through the man's torso afterall so for all that power to be redirected at the small bones of the hand and wrist, the vampire was rather confident in his guess that the gunman's right hand was out of play for a while.

However there would be far better times to muse on the pain of others. For now, Almos had a bit of an issue to deal with. This stubborn brat was attempting to fling him into the lake. "Tricky little devil," the vampire thought to himself as the Intelligence Officer grabbed onto his right arm and started manipulating his momentum. The former monk did have a few advantages on his side however. First, there was that nasty little wound the Brit had inflicted on himself with a .357 round into his left arm. Though aikido was an art of subtlety rather than power, a loss of dexterity was a loss of dexterity not to mention whatever damage Lorand had inflicted on the right hand as well. Second, Lorand had the raw power to fight instinct heedless of the pain it may cause him.

As his momentum was directed forward, Almos fought instinct and drove his left foot firmly into the ground to get his movement vector going downwards rather than forwards. His left foot on the edge of the platform, the vampire was forced to one knee, partially successful in his attempts to alter his own course. However, supernatural strength and a familiarity with pain could not overcome the simple fact that the vampire still had a human anatonomy and human joints weren't made to handle the kind of torque Almos was putting his right arm through.

Fighting against his own momentum with muscle power, it was his right shoulder that felt the ill effects. Pushed too far under far too much stress, his right shoulder was violently dislocated and flopped limply to his side as the vampire bended knee. Lorand had grown quite accustomed to inflicting necessary pain upon himself over the decades spent carving ancient runes and sigils into his own body. However, even the century old vampire let out a cry of pain at this latest injury to his arm. He was hurting badly, but perhaps more importantly, he was angry.

Beyond blood, anger was the bread and butter from which this vampire drew his strength. Resentment towards his family, betrayal by the clergy and abandonment from the Almighty Himself. Lorand was ready to unleash all of it on the infuriating ant battling so defiantly against him. Shoving off his left leg, Almos went after his prey yet again, swiping at Traynor's head with his still dislocated arm as if it were a flail. Hit, miss, block it didn't matter to the furious vampire any longer. All he cared about was beating the man before him into a mangled mess of flesh and broken bone as he lashed out with Enkidu again to try and ensnare his neck before jerking the cursed chain back in an attempt to snap the Englishman's neck.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyWed Jul 24, 2013 11:03 pm

Samuel grit his teeth his right arm throbbing with pain. His forearm was broken in at least 3 different places judging from the pain he was feeling. His proximity was too close now to make a tactical retreat he'd need to adapt to his current situation. Doing a quick tactical analysis he acknowledged that both of his arms were damaged, One of them being nearly inoperable (His right) and the other being usable but not without significant pain. He'd also lost two of his firearms leaving him with two remaining weapons, His Glock 37 and his COP.357 in his right sleeve. In a CQC fight he was outmatched in strength by a margin too large to compensate for.

He ducked beneath the arm coming at him like a flail and dashed forward kicking off the floor with his left foot moving him to the right away from the chain. He quickly rushed the vampire he was facing hoping that this last ditch effort would do him well. He was running out of space to maneuver in the battle and he needed to end this battle fast. In the last few inches between him and his opponent he dropped to his knees sliding across the smooth metal moving his left hand into his right sleeve and gripping the grip of his COP.357. He felt the button holding his COP.357 come undone as the weapon fell smoothyl into his left hand. As he reached the vampire he brought the weapon to bare. He was within his opponent's guard now his enemy's left arm was occupied with manipulating the chain while the other was hanging limp by his hopefully from when he'd dislocated it.

There was no more room to maneuver for either of them this would be Samuel's endgame. Raising the weapon with one arm he fired one shot into his enemies groin using the recoil to help his aim climb as he pulled the trigger repeatedly each shot rising further up over the man's body from the recoil his arm throbbing in pain with each shot, over his torso and with the last shot aimed towards the center of the man's face in the no reflex kill zone. Hopefully these shots would land and they and perhaps even kill his enemy. If not then he could only hope it would toss his foe from the platform into the lake below.

(Don't know if this'll get me a win I can only hope so, Also I'm not sure if I auto-hitted during this my head was kinda dazed when I was writing this ^-^)

OOC: "There was no more room to maneuver for either of them this would be Samuel's endgame." <- There's always up my friend~

Rage had refocused the vampire's bloodlust to a razor's edge, his mind racing to find the most painful way to kill the stubborn man before him even as his limp armed swipe and chain were dodged by the evasive gunman. Acting on what Almos could only call pitiful desperation, the man actually moved in and closed distance with a powerful vampire. He was either very brave or very stupid. Either way, it didn't change the fact that he was also very crafty and Lorand had taken enough injuries up until now to know that the Brit's tricks were not to be underestimated. Who knew what other surprises were hidden in those sleeves.

As the British agent dropped into his slide at a range close enough to touch, it was the vampire who chose to create a bit of distance, however minor it may have been. Jumping straight into the air and bringing his knees up to his chest, Almos' face was graced with a joyous grin as the hidden .357 came out, the man obviously took hiding tricks up his sleeve to heart. A meal after Lorand's own heart. Unfortunately for the gunman, Almos was prepared for those silver bullets this time. The crimson sphere Angra Mainyu flared to life around the vampire in midair above the gunslinger, the word "Dead" in its offensive message staring Samuel straight in the eye. The silver rounds pinged off the sphere's surface, flying off in wild directions away from the vampire as gravity took hold once more. Having only hopped a short distance into the air, Almos would be landing back down just as the final round in the .357 was fired uselessly at his head. As Angra Mainyu dissipated into thin air, Lorand was bringing both of his booted feet down at the downed man's upper chest. Thrusting with his full weight and all the muscular power his legs could produce at the moment, Almos was intent on crushing Traynor's chest into paste, killing the crafty gunman instantly.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptySat Jul 27, 2013 12:21 pm

Samuel noticed his target jump avoiding most of the rounds he'd fired and growled in annoyance as his eyes followed his enemy. As his enemy came down he rolled to the left gritting his teeth as his left arm throbbed painfully as it pressed against the floor. He reached down into his belt holster and withdrew his Glock 37 his right hand reached for a magazine on his belt and slid it into the weapon as he got to his feet both of his arms screamed in protest with each movement he forced them to make. He quickly focused his sights on Almos forcing both of his arms to raise the barrel of the weapon in Almos' direction hoping to catch him off guard. He was still in close proximity having not moved far and was nearly in point blank range. He was in a hot zone that is how his old instructors would refer this situation. But he didn't have many options available this had turned into a close combat fight fast and he'd need to adapt. He quickly pulled the trigger three times wincing as it shook his bones and muscles causing him to grunt in pain.

OOC:   You mentioned Traynor drawing a gun and a magazine before loading it (realistically slowed by the damaged arms) and rising to his feet to focus his sights on Almos.  That's a rather large period of time to ignore a bloodthirsty standing over you so I'll be exploiting that time frame.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

His boot heels crashed into the platform's surface with a resounding clang that echoed out over the lake.  The squirming little worm had managed to escape death's embrace yet again.  In the back of his mind, Almos would admit a certain respect for the British man's tenacity towards survival.  However, the vampire was far to enraged to even begin such objective thoughts.  Rather than stare in stunned silence at the gunman's Spetznez styled combat rolling, the Hungarian simply raised his right foot as Traynor rolled over his left arm and began readying his pistol.  As soon as the British man began trying to get to his feet, Almos would already be on him, driving his boot downward on Traynor's right rib cage to crush the bones and send the jagged pieces stabbing inwards to pierce the vital organs within Samuel's chest.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyTue Jul 30, 2013 2:34 am

Samuel didn't have much time to react as the Vampire quickly closed the distance between them and drove it's foot straight into his rib cage. He screamed in pain as he felt his ribs snap under the force of the hit. He nearly bit his tongue off as he clenched his teeth. He could feel the splintered ends of the bones ripping into his internal organs and hissed. There wouldn't be anymore dodging or recovering from this battle the last nail had been struck into his coffin lid. Samuel glared up at the creature the creature that had killed him. He could feel every ounce of his minds remaining capacity expressing it's hatred towards it. He grit his teeth as his vision went red as he got to his feet growling in pain as his ribs shredded his innards but he brushed off the pain his anger driving him like raging animal.

He wouldn't die yet he wouldn't let himself die until he brought this vampiric son of a bitch to the grave with him. "D-Damn you!!" Samuel roared lunging at the creature and pressing the barrel of his Glock 37 to it's face and pulling the trigger while pushing forward. He didn't care if the creature ripped into him anymore he didn't care if it bit him punched him or broke him. He'd plunge himself and this abomination into the lake of hellfire below if it was the last thing he did. Samuel let out a feral roar as he pushed with all of his remaining strength trying to force his opponent back with a combination of gunfire and dying will strength.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyTue Jul 30, 2013 8:48 am

Now -that- was satisfying. That wonderous feeling of brittle bones snapping beneath his heel was bliss for the Hungarian vampire, especially considering all the trouble that this cockroach had put him through. As Traynor hissed and glared, Lorand took a moment to pop his right shoulder back into its socket, letting out his own grunt of pain before his smug grin returned. Finally, finally the Brit had a proper look of hatred in his eyes. "It's about damn time," the vampire throught as Samuel rose quickly through the power of anger and brought that pesky gun up again.

Though his force of will was impressive, Traynor's efforts would be all for naught. With all his rage centered on the vampire before him, it appeared as if the calm, tactical agent that had continually sprung trick after trick had disappeared entirely. With speed beyond that of any mortal man, Almos shifted to his right and pushed the outstretched gun off to his left to effectively avoid the gunshots and attempt to clamp down on Traynor's wrist using his left hand. With all that momentum going forward, Almos simply allowed his opponent to flow past him as he continued his own counterclockwise turn to take the Brit's back. Using his now functional right arm, Lorand would reach out try and hook his clawed fingers around Traynor's windpipe from behind. Having learned from his previous mistakes against the man's martial arts prowess, Almos decided to take no chances this time. Rather than trying to strangle or break the man's neck, the vampire would simply draw his fingers back the way they came, opening the Brit's throat as the gunman continued on his futile charge.

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty
PostSubject: Re: Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor   Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor EmptyWed Jul 31, 2013 2:26 am

Samuel felt his gun get pushed aside sending his shots flying into the distance. He barely even moved his target and he could feel his strength fading as he shifted into a weak shamble. He felt his target moved around him from behind and wrap it's arm around his wind pipe. He knew he was finished now but that didn't mean he'd let this creature get the satisfaction of killing him. Placing the gun against his temple he breathed in for a moment but grit his teeth and scowled dropping the gun to his side he felt a burst of pain ripple through his neck as the vampire opened his throat. Samuel couldn't breath only feeling air enter through his throat and exit his nose as he attempted to.

With the last few ounces of strength he had he placed the barrel of the gun against his chest over his heart and closed his eyes saying a small prayer for mercy and another to hopefully bless the bullet before he pulled the trigger in his last act of anger hoping he'd blow a hole in this damned creature's black heart. Before everything went black in his eyes and his gun clattered to the floor as the round was fired the lone shell casing bouncing across the platform as it fell into the lake of fire below. Samuel's body went limp as it fell to the floor of the platform blood slowly draining from his wounds.

Samuel could see grey as far as the eye could see after the black had faded and sat in a world different from the one he'd just left. He glanced up as a bright light shined through the dull grey of the world around him and saw a figure approaching through the light. "Time to go say hi to mum again son..." The voice said. Samuel felt a small smile spread over his face as a man approached him. The man seemed way taller than him somehow and he looked down noticing he was in the body of a child. "Dad...are we going home?" Samuel asked. The man's face was finally visible to Samuel revealing the smiling face of his father "Course we are little soldier mum's waitin for us." He said as he hugged Samuel and carried him off into the light.

(Good Match Almos)

Almos Lorand vs Samuel Traynor Empty

OOC: This fight was a true pleasure and an honor, Samuel.

The familiar warm wetness of another person's lifeblood ran across Almos' hand as the vampire drew his hand back across the gunman's throat, splitting it wide open to finally finish this frustrating battle. Or at least, he thought it was the end. As the British man's body fell, a final bullet burst out of his back without warning and caught Almos squarely in the left bicep. The round tore through fabric, muscle and impacted painfully against the bone. Taken completely off guard, the vampire was knocked to the floor of the platform clutching his limb. Distracted by the sudden pain, he'd believed that his whole damn arm had been ripped off before his senses finally returned enough for him to properly assess the damage.

Even in death, the gunman had managed to unveil one last surprise for the vampire. "Stupid and careless!" Almos mentally chided himself. Arrogant behavior like that was exactly what got so many vampires like himself killed. He should have known better. Continuing to mentally kick himself in the ass, Almos hauled himself back to his feet and examined the corpse lying at his feet. Not willing to risk another foolish mistake, Almos tested the state of the body by stomping down on Traynor's outstretched leg to break some bones. The body didn't twitch.

Finally confident in his prey's passing, Almos reached down with his right hand and lifted the British spy up to face level by the neck. Using his thumb to angle the gunman's face back and forth, Lorand studied the man as if commiting his face to memory. Finally a scowl appeared on the Hungarian's face and he shifted his grip to rake his clawed fingers across Traynor's face, leaving deep lacerations across the formerly pristine skin, and finally kick the body into the bubbling lake below.

The limp remains splashed into the lake and quickly began sinking beneath the foreboding surface, the liquid already eating away at the clothing and flesh. Watching it sink, Almos spit into the lake after it, more than happy to see the bastard go. Turning back to view the platforms, he sent his red gaze over the environment. "Hmm, now how the hell am I supposed to get out of here?" he asked the empty space around him.
