PostSubject: The fallen and the Traitor.   Tue Jul 02, 2013 12:51 pm

The setting was dark as he sun made its way its way below the horizon. The buildings in this ruin of a town were all but abandoned. The was a low bridge overlooking a nearly dried up river that had almost given up on remaining a bridge.

Anthony walked up to the child who had once been his family. His face which were at the moment covered in sunglasses was a blank and emotionless mask. One might think that he was bored even. As he approached her he threw open his cloak and announced himself.

"Ada, I have been sent to eliminate you. Prepare yourself for combat."

Anthony took his cloak off his shoulders and then he pulled out his two knives from his belt and laid them on the cloak. This child had known him for a while and would now that he was no devoid of all weaponry.

"I would prefer not to do this but it seems I have no choice."

He looked at her and awaited her response/ attack.

Ada stared out at her canvas of death and destruction. She'd been waiting for this time for a long time. God had taken away all she'd cared about refusing to act when she needed him to. He'd allowed a monster to rip the closest thing she had to a mother from her grasp. And for this she did not blame the beast she blamed the creator.

"Isn't it beautiful Uncle?" Ada said not turning to face the man she'd seen as family for years. "Life turned into stillness just for a single moment...Just as it should be..." Ada said a small maniacal grin spreading onto her face. She'd destroyed this town for the sole purpose of bringing a member of Iscariot to her.

Ada finally turned her head to look back at her former comrade and Uncle "Good...I want to die...I want to die to transcend the fate God believes he can force upon me." Ada said a slight grin appearing on her face. "God has taken all I love...For the longest time I believed that I should blame the monster...But in reality it's the master who stole it from me..." Ada said her fists clenching.

She heard Tony's cloak being cast off to the side along with his knives and smirked "The choice was never yours Uncle it was mine..." Ada said turning to face him completely. "Let that Father die...and let the Monster Rise...." Ada said smirking.

7 Year Renegade Ada

Combat Abilities: Renegade Ada is a more offensive fighter having improved her strength over the years in attempts to match Almos' strength. However she only ever achieved half of Almos' total strength.

Her combat styles include Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and Judo and Aikido she uses all of these 4 styles in synchronization to make her a well rounded offensive fighter.

Ada with her Pick Pocket reflexes is also excellent at dodging attacks

Anthony could almost not stand to listen to this child. She was so deranged. So inhuman. She looked like his nice but she did not speak or think like her. His niece was dead. There was only this. The angry shell of someone he loved. He did not think that he could bring himself to kill her when he first encountered her but this...This he could kill. Although at the remark God has taken all that she loved his heart did ache. Was he truly so meaningless to her? Did se not love him in the smallest way? He began to wonder. Then stopped himself. It no longer mattered.

Father Anthony looked down at his cross and forgot to pull it off. It was in fact a knife. He would not be able to use this. As he pulled the cross of his necklace he made sure to keep his eye on Ada. He threw it with the rest of his equipment and not saying another word. He couldn't have anyway. He charged her with a flying side kick. Simple and he could work out a strategy from her reaction.

Ada stood her ground for a moment before ducking beneath his flying side kick. She never understood why people went for such high risk maneuvers. Flying attacks left no room for reaction . Acting quickly Ada gripped Tony's leg and turned using her shoulder to lever Tony into the ground using his momentum to increase the speed of his fall. She quickly got back to her feet and took a few steps back shifting into a Muay Thai stance. "Let's not be flash Uncle I don't want the fun to end before it even begins." Ada said

Ada quickly charged forward throwing a punch at Tony's face. If the blow connected she would then grip his hair and force his head down to drive her knee into his nose. If not she would wait to see his reaction so that she could in turn react accordingly.

Father Anthony's leg was gripped by Ada and he was thrown to the floor. Luckily he knew what to do to minimize damage. He slapped his hands o the ground before any other part of the body and rolling forward off his shoulder he got to one knee and quickly sprung back up. Ada's punch was fast and deadly. Anthony stepped to the side of it then in he same motion he continued on with hi momentum completing the turn and making a grab for Ada's wrist. If he was to succeed he would put it in a death grip hen turn it so the elbow would be taunt. At the same time he would lower his shoulder below it then pulling down his hand and jumping p with his legs he would snap the elbow.

Regardless of if he succeeded he would throw a back kick at her chest  and try to spin back around to face her.

As Ada's punch moved past Tony's she felt him grip her wrist. On instinct Ada ceased her momentum to the best of her ability and brought her elbow and struck him across the face and backed away keeping her fists up. She narrowed her eyes moving forward throwing standing punches with no momentum behind them. She needed to be aware of his movements and his style of fighting. Already she could tell that he was a more defensive fighter. A sick grin spread across her face "What's wrong Uncle are you a coward?" Ada taunted. His moves were basic at best and they betrayed no particular style except perhaps Aikido.

She watched his foot kick air as he a seemed to believe she'd stay within his lethal striking range. In fights she tended to keep her distance moving in to strike and then dodging and weaving her way out of her opponents striking range.

Frik that hadn't worked. A pity to. That was his favorite move.

Ada's deadly elbow came across Anthony's face so he lifted his shoulder and let that tougher part of his body take that as he hid his face under it.

The next problems were once again Ada's fists. He jumped back a little to avoid the first couple. Then switching he started using basic karate. He wanted to conserve his strength and moves for surprises against go openings on Ada.

Anthony responded to Ada as he tried to block her elbow strike. "You always knew I was Ada."

Anthony performed what was called a star block extremely fast. A high block covering his chest and head deflected one of Ada's punches. Then the middle block countered a shot to his abdomen. As he pushed her hand away with his one hand he disobeyed his masters orders about keeping one hand in the chamber so to speak He struck right after he blocked her strike with his left hand. And he used his right hand to preform a low block and keep that arm away from her body. Anthony would bring that hand back for a better defense as soon as his other hands blow went through.

But Anthony's blow which seemed a simple punch at first changed as he neared her sternum. From there he switched his strike to an open handed palm strike to under the chin.

Ada instead of pressing her attack backed away as her strike was blocked and this in turn seemed to be a good idea as her Uncle seemed to have a plan for a counter. A strike like that might of broken her teeth. As he finished his counter attack she moved in moving left and right to disrupt his focus before throwing a combo of jabs and right hooks raining blows upon Tony.

She needed to adapt her offensive strategy to match Tony's and so far it seemed as if he was mostly about counter moves. Most of his offensive capabilities were flashy or basic making him a bit predictable but his counter moves were crippling from what she had seen.

She grit her teeth as she listened to him call himself a coward. Her fists clenched as she tossed punch after punch at Tony "STOP LETTING ME WALK ALL OVER YOU!!!" Ada screamed throwing her right fist at Tony's nose.

Ever since she was a child she'd lived listening to her Uncle Tony put himself down. Always anticipating his own death and always griping about his weakness. It made her sick then and now it made her even sicker. He'd outlived her Mother and still saw no usefulness within himself.

Anthony laughed and responded sarcastically to Ada. "Oh don't worry Ada. I let everybody walk all over me."

So far her punches had not been dangerous enough to make him use more power and concentration that what was easy to maintain but as se got angry her strikes got deadly. Anthony blocked most of them but a few glancing blows.

So far he had played defensive yet with this new amount of force coming at him he would have to step up his offense in order to counter. Luckily probably wouldn't expect this ferocity.

As Anthony blocked her blows he started using his elbows to do so and he stepped closer. He was now standing with his right side towards Ada in a crouched stance. Completely switching his game he threw his left elbow at Ada by stepping forward with his left foot and switching directions of his body it would be powerful but short, short ranged and as his legs sprang upward to deliver the crushing elbow blow to her chest he also leaping off his right foot performed a powerful but slow jumping front kick. One hat he wanted her to catch. So that on his Down fall he would come in close as she had his leg and then using his elbows he would try and box her ears.

Ada used her right arm to block the elbow strike paying close attention to her footwork she angled her body back placing her center of gravity higher causing her to fall backwards dodging the elbow and kick aimed at her chest. She quickly did a quick roll backwards getting to her feet scowling. So far Tony hadn't landed a blow on her his moves were to dependent on others being landed whereas her's did damage independently.

She was still seething at Tony's attitude all her life she'd watched him take any abuse dished out by others.

This girl was smart and fast. He should know. He had helped her become this way. So far her strategy had been basic but effective. He didn't believe that what she was throwing out at him was deadly currently. But if he made a mistake it could cost him. He knew that he was a great defensive fighter, or at least he hoped so. But Ada had wanted him to come to her. She wanted someone to find her in this town. Someone to come end her misery? Who knew. But she knew she was beyond seeking out things. He had a suspicion that might be applied in combat a little bit. He could be wrong but not only was there that to think about. There was also the fact that she was smart. She knew she would want her to get in close.

Anthony approached her slowly and then at the last moment sprinted the couple feet betwenn them he hammered blows on her with a horrible and slightly sickening ferocity that he had used on very few others before this. He never imagined that he would have to do so against his niece. His attacks were basic at first heavy over head blows for the first couple. All the while he of course maintained a defense but for now he was going to try and punish her body as much as possible.

He threw in the occasional elbow near or kick as the opportunities presented himself but all the while his stance was strong where he was and he did not move if at all possible.

As he struck at her he shouted.

"So this is what you want!? This is what you want from this life!? You want the only living person left on this earth who loves you to kill you!? Is that it!?"

Before waiting for a response he shouted once again.

"You complain about God being the one who did this to you! You blame him for everything because its easier isn't it!? It's easier than having to face your problems and admit that there's something out there that maybe you just can't set right! You know why God allows for sin!? You know why there are horrible things done on this earth!? Because didn't want his children to be slaves! He gave US the choice!"

Ada gasped as she suddenly fell under heavy Assault by her Uncle she blocked most of his blows to the best of her abilities luckily most of the overhead blows were blocked protecting her head but in the fray she'd taken a few nasty hits to her ribs and face. Ada growled with a sort of feral ferocity as she ceased her defensive. A onslaught like this had no end until one side gave in and Ada would not be treated like a punching bag. She began countering his moves with hits of her own launching sharp jabs with her finger tips penetrating deep into Tony's muscles as her strikes landed. She dodged what few strikes she could while taking the rest in stride.

Pain was only an after thought to her now. She'd become numb to pain both emotional and physical after watching her Mother die at the hands of the Monster Almos. With a feral scream she gripped Tony's leg as he tossed a kick at her side bringing her elbow down on his kneecap no doubt breaking or dislocating the limb before bringing her palm back and thrusting it toward his chest before backing away breathing heavily. She wiped a bit of blood away from her lips and looked down at her knuckles. They were bloody and bruised now but she couldn't bring herself to care. She turned her eyes upon Anthony with a cold glare.

Ada bit her lip as tears burned down her cheeks. Not tears of sadness but anger. "I don't need your love...I DON'T WANT IT!!!!" Ada screamed at him gripping her hair as memories of Veronica flashed through her mind. "LOVE ONLY BRINGS PAIN!!" Ada screamed bowing her head as more memories plagued her. Memories of happiness with her Mother and Lydia. Then came the painful memories the memories of her Mother's death. Ada screamed and punched the concrete next to her. The concrete remained unscathed but a fresh cut now sent blood streaming from her knuckles.

Ada sat still for a moment before looking up slowly anger written across her face. "I've made my choice Uncle...." Ada hissed as she got to her feet. "God allowed monsters like Almos to walk his earth...He does nothing to save the countless lives of those who would die in his name!!" Ada yelled. "GOD DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME OR ANYONE ELSE!!!" Ada screamed. She breathed heavily as her fists remained clenched by her sides.

"I want to die..." Ada said her shoulders slumping for a moment it seemed like the Old Ada had shined through the dark veil she'd become. "I want to die...So that I can destroy him...And I'll kill you...So that you can watch him fall." Ada said grinning maniacally.

Anthony his attacks having been successful for the most part was still posed with a very serious issue. His knee. He was sure it wasn't broken but dislocated? Absolutely. However a brief respite came a his words took over Ada emotionally. He had done some damage against but she had done quite a bit to him. Luckily his bullet proof vest had softened some of her deep tissue jabs. As she spoke and ranted nonsense about the Lord Anthony knew what had to be done.

Anthony Leaning up against a rock used his leg to support himself and position his other leg at an angle.

Anthony breathed heavily as he prepared the strike against his leg. It only took a moment of perperation before he would strike it with his open palm and it would crack back inside. It would hurt like nothing else in this fight so far. Except maybe the sight of Ada. But it needed to be done.

Anthoy's strike landed and with barely a mutter his knee went back into place. He used the rock for support as Ada's last sentence washed over him.

Anthony sat on the boulder his leg lying limp off of it. His other leg balancing himself by being on the ground. He would need to stay near this rock if he wanted to sit up easily. He looked at her and said in a hollow voice.

"God is never defeated through sin. Everything is arighted in the end. Those who can't see this are blind."

Then as he prepared himself for combat once more he added.

"And Ada. You have already killed me. You have torn out part of my heart and how can a man live without a heart?"

Ada rolled her eyes crossing her arms beneath her bust "Look at you Uncle I've killed more than your heart...look around you...I've murdered an entire city..." Ada said spreading her arms gesturing to the devastation around her. "I wish you'd lay off your pathetic theatrics and pay attention to the bigger picture at hand..." Ada said tapping her temple with her index finger. "You cry about your dead heart you preach about your god theatrics...all of it your heart still beats...I haven't killed it and your god is fake if he allows evil such as me to exist..." Ada said condescendingly

Ada walked a bit closer Anthony's knee limited his mobility. He was a broken man now she feinted a punch but instead brought her leg up to crush Anthony's wounded knee against the boulder. She wasn't satisfied with dislocating the limb she wanted to break it. She wanted to hear him scream as the bone shattered and pierced muscle and skin. Ada quickly took a few steps back and began to walk in a circle around him like a predator circling prey. Movement upon the boulder wouldn't be easy without complete access to his legs she knew this. As she came to Anthony's side she rushed up sending a low kick spiraling towards the back of his other knee.

Anthony laughed to himself as she went on about how useless his theatrics were. He thought that was a ridicules notion. Especially seeing what they did to Ada. The only reason he might be alive right now was because she had decided to give him precious moments of recovery time screaming in emotional agony.

As Ada Feinted a punch Anthony moved his entire body to the side slightly along with his arm to build up momentum enough to perform another grab. This would not succeed as the punch was fake but it did help him to avoid the knee. He had to continue leaning against this rock all the while however and was unable to send out a counter strike.

As Ada rounded the boulder Anthony started talking to her. He didn't know how long she would fall for the emotional hoopla but it had served him very well in the past. So far his speech had been flawless. His execution and facial expression they were also done very well.

"He doesn't allow such as a thing as yourself to exist Ada. For you are nothing. Your life is a miserable shell of hell on earth. You have forsaken all things that make life, life. You are nothing Ada."

While it should be said that this strategy of mentally weakening her was what Anthony was trying to do. He could also not stop himself from believing in his words himself. This belief was what perhaps gave then the sincere quality of believe ability. In truth the only thing fake about them was that he was saying them out loud. If he didn't have to he wouldn't. But that would be an unwise move. Which he could not afford to make at the moment.

As she lunged at him with her kick obviously trying to cripple him the father jumped to the side supporting himself with his hands on the rock. The kick was good but he had expected something like this, and then quick as he could he came back forward.

There was not much to be done. This fight was really only an attempt to die. For perhaps both of them. What hope did either of them have now? Anthony having failed this child horribly. Despite what he had done. She had not loved him it appeared. In fact she was trying to kill him. He was worthless. And she even admitted her longing for death.

But as Anthony was about to to start landing half hearted blows against Ada. He changed his mind.

He thought about the people that he knew who would never forgive him if he just gave up if he just quite. Quite like so many others before him. What did everyone know about those men? they were weak. Sure he may be useless. But if there was one thing he could do it was try. Try and after he died without shame he would face those people he had come to know as friends and family. He would great them all with happiness. This is for you Anthony thought to himself. Meabh, Lydia, Father Anderson.

His blows quickly went from almost a death wish to powerful. He switched his fighting style to fast and calculated he would deliver powerful stunning blows against Ada while pushing her back and him against the rock. Her kicks he would watch out for and his strikes were fast coming out and fast coming in. Often times he struck with blows from his fingers sides and the back of his wrists. He made sure to draw his hands in quickly when executing these moves.

His overall strategy with these moves were precise hits to vital areas against. As she tried to block Anthony would reinforce such weight distribution and have the block go off its course such as to far up and then his hand closer to Ada's body would make a strike to her temple or kidney or some such fragile area.

All the while Anthony kept himself light on his feet and balanced against the rock. Always he would have one hand making blocks agaisnt her counter strikes and trying to cover as much area as possible with the one limb. these limbs switched but the defensive and striking strategy remained. Although that is not to say he would make things predictable. He would be able to move but not do so unwittingly. As he struck he screamed out a battle cry.

As she approached ducked and side stepped most of Anthony's strikes they had alot of power behind them but without proper balance they lacked the actual accuracy to land correctly. As he threw a punch at her temple she ducked forward within the reach of his arms taking away the advantage of his superior reach and landed a harsh blow into his stomach with an upper cut with her right fist. As he doubled over she gripped his hair and wrenched his head up moving her hand to his face to smash the back of his skull against the boulder before tossing him behind her to the ground.

Ada took a deep breath and stretched popping a few bones in her back into place before turning to the fallen Father. "You disappoint me Uncle...I'd hoped for more..." Ada said crossing her arms as she approached him but ensuring to stay out of his reach. "But I have to admit...I thought you might of had what it took to kill me for a while..." Ada said getting to her knees and folding her hands in her lap as she stared at the Father. She smiled and shook her head looking down at the ground "I guess my thoughts were wrong..." Ada said for once the maniacal undertone of her voice had faded completely. Revealing the Ada beneath all the hate and anger she'd kept bottled up for so long. "I wanted to die...that's true...But if I gave up that would be suicide...You said I'm nothing but I'd rather be nothing than be a coward..." Ada said.

She locked eyes with the priest wondering what fight he had left in his broken body. She laughed dryly "I was actually hoping that maybe...By killing me you'd get stronger...And do what Mother and I couldn't do..." Ada said sighing letting her shoulders slump. "But you couldn't even do that...And...The only thing I can say now is...I'm sorry." Ada said before getting to her feet. She reached into the satchel her Grimoires were held and pulled out something that she hadn't looked upon in many years. She smiled briefly staring at the book in her hands. "This...was the first bible Mom ever gave me...I stole it on the streets of Rome..." Ada said showing Anthony the bible. "She chased me for almost a mile and then she brought us to the orphanage..." Ada said.

Ada gripped the bible a bit tighter "She was the closest to a real parent I ever had...I loved her like how a child should love a parent...But then he took her away...I wanted someone to save her..." Ada whispered. "I couldn't..." Ada said looking over at Tony. Ada bit her lip "I'd hoped that you would but that won't happen now..." Ada said bowing her head. As it came back up the look of corruption had taken it's place once more as if she'd put on a mask "Because you'll be dead..." Ada said as she approached him and pressed her foot against his throat pressing down slowly. "I want to watch your final moments Uncle I want you to look upon me and see the girl you failed to save." Ada hissed.

Anthony was doubled over from the blow to the stomach thankfully softened by his vest. Which he was so thankful that he had. He couldn't imagine why more Iscariots didn't carry it. But as Ada pulled his hair and threw his skull into the rock he knew that that attack could not be allowed to land completely. He jumped up with his one good leg and turned his body so that his shoulder would absorb the blow. Ada threw him to the ground and once again her dramatic speeches she herself had mocked had given him a little time to recover. As Ada approached him he couldn't help but get excited. This was it. Soon enough he would enter the kingdom of God and serve him in the beyond.

Anthony looked at Ada and contained his excited smile and said once again truthfully.

"I loved her to. So this is how you decide to honor her huh? With this (he chuckled) useless witchcraft."

As Ada's boot descended upon him muttered calmly. "It finally ends..."

As her boot reached his face he put his plan into action.

Grabbing her boot with both his hands and lifting his right and only useful leg  he put that around Ada's knee.  He threw her down as he pulled her foot down and into his arm pit which could break her knee. Or it would dislocate it. Or something similar to that. Either way her leg was now just as useless as his.

As she fell and her knee became disabled he still holding onto her leg in a death grip threw his body to the left and spun her leg around with him. As he did this he still holding onto her foot pushed the foot to the right with his hand.

He hoped that with the combined shock of the knee being so severely injured and his quick reaction time that this ankle would break with the weight of his body and hands pushing against it at such angles. But who knew what this girl was capable of.

As she fell to the floor hopefully on her stomach and hopeful with two useless joints Anthony keeping his elbows as close to his head as he safely could for defense against any kicks thrown his way told Ada with a smile of maniacal joy that looked horribly similar to Ada's.

"The only way I want to see you my dear child! Is burning in hell!" Anthony lied but regardless he wanted to enjoy his last few moments of life and he 3wanted to go out like an Iscariot. Nothing left to give with screams of pain in his ears and his live blood flowing out of his mouth chocking him. He wanted this to happen so badly that he could taste. This wasn't a fight to win anymore. This was a fight to have nothing left to give. If he happened to win. Then it would be nice to see Lydia again but if he lost. Then eventually after he made his way through his thousands of years traveling in purgatory he would join the saints in their songs.

Ada screamed as she felt her knee pop out of place she hadn't expected Tony to continue fighting but somewhere inside she felt a slight swell of pride for Tony seeing him fight on. As she fell forward she grit her teeth as felt her knee throbbing with pain. While she did feel pride she also felt anger at herself for allowing herself to be so open. She bit her lip reminding herself not to allow such a blunder again the next time might not just equal a broken knee it would equal death.

As she fell to her stomach she quickly turned into Tony's grip as he attempted to twist her ankle she twisted her body with his grip turning her leg with the limb he was attempting to break keeping the positioning normal. Finally she stopped as she finally landed on her back lifted her leg up high enough that it almost touched her shoulder and brought it back down upon Anthony's throat.

The force of momentum and gravity came down with such force that it would crush Anthony's trachea cutting off his air supply. She gritted her teeth and brought her leg up once more not willing to allow Anthony another attempt to counter her attacks and struck again and repeatedly the process ramming the heel of her foot into Anthony's throat repeatedly until he finally went still. Ada rolled away and grit her teeth as she got to her feet. She could feel her knee throbbing with pain as she approached Anthony's still body. No words would be said this time as she finally came to his corpse and lifted her right foot up and stomped on his skull driving the heel of her boot through his eye socket. She cried in pain as she fell back unable to support herself with her left leg. She then withdrew her heel and grit her teeth getting to her feet once more and walking away.
