The Boy who Cried Wolf Empty
PostSubject: The Boy who Cried Wolf   The Boy who Cried Wolf EmptySun Jun 02, 2013 4:43 pm

[Set many years in the future, the man calling himself John Smith has left the world to find himself spiritually. He is now a member of a Buddhist monastery, having learned to control his abilities even more precisely than ever. Information on "God Mode" is in the repost. Also, he learned Kung Fu.]

It was a warm day at the temple. Quiet, too. He wondered where the other monks had gone, but wasn't too concerned. Scratching his shaved head, John took a walk around the exterior of his home. His robes helped to keep him cool, but even so, he decided to only wear the bottom today. He still wasn't totally sure as to where some of the scars decorating his chest and back came from, even after recovering what seemed like the majority of his memories. It didn't much matter anymore, though; he was a different person these days, trying to make up for the wrong he'd done and everyone he'd gotten killed.

Finding a shaded spot beneath an old tree, he began to meditate, hoping to clear his mind of the dark thoughts he'd just dredged up. Something bothered him, though. It seemed like someone was coming towards him. It couldn't be one of the monks; it didn't feel right. He heard footsteps now, only confirming his original thought. It sounded like they were wearing boots, much different from his standard footwear. He opened his eyes and rose to meet whoever was coming his way.

Staring at his opponent as he went up the hill The Captain readied himself for battle, in his left hand was his Mauser and in the right he carried the body of the abbot of the dead monks. His hat and coat shielded his appearance, but with a flick of his wrist he threw the body of the abbot at the resting monk head first like a human spear as he began to rise to meet Hans. His Mauser then came up as he threw the body, he emptied five rounds at the opponent and with a range of 300-400 metres due to his modified barrels he was confident the shots would land.

He didn’t know why the Major had sent him here but the truth was he didn’t care; things mattered little to him now. All the organisations were failing and it was looking like the supernatural wasn’t going to be around for long, it wasn't a bad thing. Humans would soon have the Earth to themselves, but while Hans breathed he couldn't disobey an order. He kept alert and ready to dodge whatever his opponent sent to him, like all other opponents the man before him would slip up; it was just a matter of time.

While he certainly had no idea what to expect beforehand, a murderer wasn't very high up on his list of likely candidates coming to visit. Before he knew it, the body of one of the monks was being launched at him. Grabbing the body as it went through the air, he was knocked back to the ground as bullets came whistling towards him. A portal opened in front of him, the bullets passing through to come out several meters to the left of the lunatic, though positioned as to only wound him. Hopefully the shock of his ability would be enough to get him to reconsider this foolish attack.

He rested the body on the ground before standing up. Though he had tried to purge hate from his body, it was slowly returning to him. He looked the man up and down, figuring he must be part of the Millennium group from long ago. John had hoped they would have finally died out by now, but that didn't seem to be the case. This soldier seemed familiar, but his memories of that time had mostly faded; he tried his best not to think about then. Whatever the case, if this man was here, it would most likely mean he was meant to kill the portal fairy.

"Please leave this place. Violence is not acceptable here," he warned, giving the intruder one last chance to leave before he was forced to go on the offensive. As much as he abhorred fighting, it would seem it was time for him to dust off his skills once again. He raised his arms and positioned his right leg back, making a tiger stance to prepare himself for the battle he already knew was coming.

Turning into mist as the other portal opened to his left The Captain rushed forwards as a stream of the vapour, using it as a distraction he reformed behind his opponent and with all the speed and power he could muster he kicked out at the monk’s right shoulder blade. Then pulling back as mist as soon as the blow was complete Hans reformed once more to the right of his opponent a few feet away, he was going to try and capture this one if he could, Herr Doktor would be interested in this and he still had his duty to perform.

He threw his coat and hat off as he prepared for the rest of their conflict, his senses were attuned and the Elder Werewolf was more than willing to kill if need be. There were still monks alive at the monastery and Hans wasn’t about to resort to merely taking hostages, that was the work of cowards and he still had some honour he could cling on to. He took up his stance and waited for his opponent, his boots were ready to cause more damage and if need be he had his feral form. It might be fun to let loose for once, I only fight and most of the time it ends quickly, this might be interesting he thought. Battle only brought loathing to him, yet he couldn’t deny that the monster in him still needed blood. That was a part of him he couldn’t deny, and will be the part that finishes this mortal

Apparently, this creature wasn't taking too kindly to the offer of surrender. It became some kind of mist, trying to attack him from behind. His form was sloppy, though, if you could even call it a form at all. Ducking under the kick, he tried to launch a palm strike at the Captain's solar plexus, only form him to turn into mist again and appear at his side.

John refocused himself during the time it took the beast to lose its extra clothing. It seemed like he'd have to finish this quickly, despite how much he hated fighting and violence. The creature took on a much more readied look, making some semblance of form this time. Creeping around to face the man from a different position, he was attempting to aim towards the long staircase the intruder had taken up the mountain. From there, he could finish this without much effort.

As his opponent moved Hans tried to take advantage of that, he moved with every once of speed he could and keeping form he brought his fist round and punched for his opponents right shoulder with his left fist, while trying to knee him with enough power to smash concrete. Let alone the human body, with his right knee. Taking advantage of his opponent possibly backing away, Hans prepared to transform and hit him with all the power he had. This was going to be fun and the werewolf was going to make sure that he won this; a mortal had to be far more powerful than this if it was going to go hand to hand with Hans himself. The monk was good and his power was as well, but he wasn’t going to allow himself to lose to him, that would dishonour his opponent if he did win and Hans himself.

The foolish beast had fallen into his trap. As the wolf came lunging at him, a large portal the size of a house appeared between them. Out of it, hundreds of gallons of water poured with tremendous force at the werewolf. Vampires might be the ones against running water, but the Pacific Ocean should be easy enough to beat this creature with. Hopefully, the force of the water would wash him down the steps, smashing his body against the stones as he fell the way down. Hopefully the dog would put its tail between its legs as it shook off its coat and wander home.
