This is the Regional Head quarters for all of Europe. The Location is in Paris, France. The exterior glass is bullet proof given the attacks on Company Property and the increased chance of an attack when Rufus is on site. The floors are divided into two clusters, east and west with the exception of Rufus' office on the top floor. There are five to six security guards on each floor on both the east and western sides. These guards are all former French Foreign Legionaries. Each cluster/floor is guarded by both card key and pass code, one needs both to get in. Rufus' office always remains locked when he is not there and only him or a member of the Turks have access to his office at any given time.

There is an helipad on the Roof and and underground parking Complex each guarded and patrolled.

Rufus had a long week. He had talked with Hellsing, bought out a weapons manufacturer, and ascertain its government contracts. He and his company now have a footing in England for expansion. At the moment he was reviewing the quarterly reports and looking over this particular branch's progress. It was doing moderately well but not fully up to his standards. He noticed this branch hired some new people and they were scheduled to start work next week after their background checks come back. Rufus made it a requirement for all references to be checked and for their names to be run through not only the local authorities but Interpol. He took all precautions to make sure these people where who they said they were.

Rufus had been staying at a nearby hotel because he doesn't have a place of residence yet in Europe that he would tolerate living. In all actuality, it would probably be more accurate to say he was living out of his office, given he works almost eighteen hours per day this week. He was ready to go back to his hotel room and res for the rest of the day. However, he needed to finish work first. He had only one last task before leaving. he had come into the the habit of safeguarding information in unique ways. Mostly through having interesting unseen traps in files that would screw up any system if downloaded to an unauthorized system. Rufus had pulled this off through a patented system that hides these little surprises within the encryption code. Rufus had paid quite well for the development in this system especially since it required three different passwords to access any file from an outside source and one mess-up sets off the security features within the encryption. All company files were automatically encrypted after being saved on any company computer. Rufus had exclusive to the encryption keys and so did his executive board, who were all back in Tokyo.

Prep-time was relatively plentiful for Beauregard. He was dropped off in Paris and went to work.

Shave and a haircut, two bits... ok, maybe a little more expensive. Long story short, Beauregard was cleaned up and he cleans up nicely. His face was clean shaven and his hair slicked back with gel. Still kind of ugly though, but a barber can't fix that. The mercenary was also decked out in a brand new jumpsuit, and a belt of tools which hugged his hips. He looked about what you expect a janitor or maintenance technician to look like. His weapon, the PB pistol, was disassembled and the pieces scattered and hidden into various bits of equipment. For example, the suppressor was hidden inside the body of a large metal flashlight, in the cavity usually filled by heavy duty batteries. Some of the pins, tiny bits, and parts of the slide were tucked away in a faux radio. The gun was gone for all intents and purposes, detectable only to close, hands on scrutiny. And as for the electronics he was provided with (two flashdrives and a micro camera), they were tucked away in an old, old generation iPod. Acceptable according to the employee handbook he was provided with. Shame he couldn't think of a way to smuggle in C4. There was always the orifice option, but that space was already occupied by ammunition.

Beauregard checked his Casio F-91W as he walked up to the imposing glass building. His shift began in a little bit. He eyed his ID badge, his face grinned back at him below a name that wasn't his. ”I don't even remember having this picture taken... must be one of them... photoshops or whatever.” He wiped a smudge off with his gloved hands and hoped all the homework was done right. That is to say, he hoped his superiors hadn't dropped the ball or raised any red flags getting him into this place. He'd hate to fight his way in with nothing but a modified Makarov which he would have to take a second to assemble.

He entered through an entrance and was immediately struck by the amount of security in the place. He exhaled deeply, smiled, and acted as nervous as any new employee in such a large company. It was a fine line between that and acting like a jumpy terrorist ready to make things go boom. He fiddled with his ID badge, trying to take it off for scanning when a guard grabbed the thing and pulled it. A retractable tether kept it attached and the guard hovered the credentials over sensing electronics while mumbling something about new guys. When the guard let go, the badge snapped back and hit Beauregard in the chest. A green check popped up and the undercover merc moved through the turnstile. ”S-sorry, man,” said Beauregard in accented French.

Then came the metal detectors and searches. His toolbelt went on the conveyer belt and slide through as Beauregard was searched with a wand. A loud beeping occurred when the wand waved near his hip. The guard put a hand on his sidearm and took a step back. Then the guard he passed yelled towards him, pointed towards the large computer screen for checking credentials. Just as planned, Beauregard's past history was full of injuries and, more importantly, full of nice surgeries that left many pins and plates and screws in his body. Still didn't save him from having to go through a pat down and a crotch grab. Beauregard bit his tongue so hard it bled. The temptation for a snarky one-liner was almost unbearable. The tools also passed through their x-ray without a hitch. As Beauregard was putting his shoes back on and wrapping his belt around his waist, he breathed a little sigh of relief. Looks like all the mission's homework was done proper for once. He also thought how some of these guards looked familiar, but he pushed that thought out of his head and went on.

On his spare (working) radio, he tuned in to the maintenance channel and reported in for duty. He got chewed out heavily for being a few minutes late. Beauregard grimaced. This was going to go on his permanent record. After receiving a big list of things to do, Beauregard made his way to a janitorial closet. There he geared up... mop, bright yellow janitor cart, and a wide variety of high grade cleaners. Yeah, he was definitely looking the part. Next came a trip to the bathroom. There he scrubbed the toilets, polished the mirrors, and snuck into a stall. Out he came, tossing four metal objects into the trash bag on the janitor cart. These were, of course, the gun, suppressor, and two extra loaded magazines. After relieving himself and assembling his weapon, he emptied the trash, covering the weapons in used paper towels. Finally, he took his radio, adjusted the signal to the Geese's predetermined channel. The radio was supposed to only be for Beauregard to announce the start of the mission, after acquiring enough documents, after exfiltrating the building, and if (see: when) things went south. Otherwise, radio silence was to be observed.

Into the radio, Beauregard announced the code to start the mission. ”The chair is against the wall, the chair is against the wall. John has a long mustache, John has a long mustache.”

===>Hellsing Manor

With the vast majority of the leg work having been completed beforehand in order to provide Beauregard with an effective means of infiltrating the building without incident, Pip was free to sit back and enjoy the show for the most part. Posted on a rooftop a little over half a block from the Shinra building, Bernadotte rested in a kneeling position, his Barrett .50 sniper rifle resting on the concrete border of the rooftop as a makeshift stand. He had to thank his lucky stars for the design of the Shinra building, all those nice big windows were all but spotless which gave him an excellent view of just about any of the floors including the office at the top level. From here, he could keep an eye on Beau's progression through the structure while providing cover fire should it be needed and remain undetected (thanks to a handy dandy urban camoflague parka) to boot. Checking his radio, he smirked at the predetermined call sign for the mission's begining. In response, he merely pressed the response button of his own radio to send a quick clicking response. He couldn't afford much more, radio silence was a mission directive for a reason after all. The frenchman checked his watch, right on schedule so far. He had a diversion ready and waiting should the need arise but for now they'd take it slow and steady. Maybe get out of this all according to plan for once. Pft, who was he kidding?

Rufus had finished the encryption and set the language to Japanese and put in his password. Rufus leaned backed and contemplated first on what he wanted to do eat or return to his hotel room. Well before he could leave his office he needed to have it cleaned. He didn't trust anyone outside the Turks and usually preferred to be in his office when it was cleaned so he could make sure that nothing was taken or disturbed. However normally there was already someone there. Puzzled and irritated, Rufus picked up his office phone and called the custodial supervisor. "Hello, Jean-Philippe?" Rufus asked in french.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Where is the custodial that supposed to be cleaning my office? I don't pay you or your subordinates to sit down and do nothing. Send someone up now or hand me your two-weeks notice first thing in the morning." Rufus said as he hung up the phone. He sat back down and rubbed his temples. He really hated people who didn't do their job.

Jean-Philippe was not only scared but angry as he checked the rooster. He noticed it was a new employee who was supposed to be cleaning the office but checked out the cart for the third floor. He honestly forgot that the third floor custodial called in sick. He swore in french and headed up to the third floor with a replacement to find the new custodial. He found him in the bathroom cleaning. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be cleaning the Presidents Office now. Leave the cart here and lets go. All the supplies you need is already in the office." Jean said as he waited for the man to act. The replacement went to grab the cart and continue the newbie's work.

Beauregard's good mood was instantly soured by his boss's sudden arrival. He smiled while gritting his teeth so hard that he was sure hairline cracks were forming in his molar. Then he heard Jean-Philippe say to leave the cart. His eyes widened while his forced grin refused to fade. Then he realized what his boss had said after those words, namely that Beauregard had clearance to hit up the President's office. 'Plan A...,' he thought as the replacement walked towards his cart, 'Kill them all. The replacement was reaching for the cart now, 'Plan B...,'

Beauregard let the radio in his hand drop into the bag of trash and he played the part of the timid, inexperienced, foreign employee. He spoke in that accented, not-perfect French, "S-sorry, boss." He also apologized to the replacement as he stuck his arm deep into the trash bag. While in there, with a deftness unparalleled, he nigh simultaneously flipped on the safety to the pistol, dislodged the magazine, and nabbed the radio, holding his thumb on the press-to-talk button. The radio was still set to the Geese frequency as the mercenary spoke. "Ok, boss," he said to both the boss in the room and the one who should be listening in on the radio, "I gotta leave EVERYTHING here and head up to the President's office? Alright, boss. I'll be right there." He purposely struggled with the French word for everything, to try and subtly emphasize the word. Although, technically, the gun wasn't everything. Beauregard still had various tools, including the electronic equipment. Still, the gun sure felt like everything. After attempting the secret message, he thumbed the frequency selector back to the ShinRa's custodial frequency as he put the walkie-talkie into its holster.

"Lead the way, boss."

He was going to miss that damn gun. At least it probably wouldn't be found for a while. I mean, who goes digging in the trash on a janitor's cart?

Pip perked up as his radio came alive and Beau's call came through clear as day. Evidently, they'd run into a little kink in the plan. Beau having to leave his gun behind was unfortunate but far from a serious problem. Ideally they wouldn't need it and at worst they'd just bring the damn building down. The french Captain had faith in the Desert Rat's infiltration skills. No reason to get worked up just yet.

OOC: Terribly short post, my apologies. There's nothing for Pip to do just yet.

Jean-phillipe sighed and started to move his way upstairs. He found it a little odd that the new guy had pretty much almost immediately put his hand in the trash. Also why was the new guy stressing on the word ‘everything’ and ‘President’s office’ and speaking louder, did he have a mental issue? If so, then Jean Philippe would get fired for sending this person to clean the president’s office. He would have to ask security to pull up the background check on this guy to double check. They got to the elevator and Jean took out his card and swiped it and pressed the button for the elevator to ascend to the top floor.

The elevator stopped and opened up Jean-Philippe looked at the newbie and said, “Alright your new cart should be in the closet. Some things you should know. Before you enter the office you have to go through another pat down and scan by wand. These won’t be the normal security. Alright make sure you don’t have anything in slightest that would set them off. Otherwise they yell at me and I will in turn make your life miserable. Understand? Good. Now start cleaning. Also if the president leaves you leave. He doesn’t like people in his office when he isn’t there. He will fire you on sight if he walks in and you are in there and have you escorted off the property. You’re replacing someone who made that mistake two weeks ago." Once the newbie left the Elevator Jean-Philippe rode it back down to the ground floor and began walking to the security office to look into this guy.

Two men in black suites with white shirts and black ties approached the Janitor who got off the level. One was bald and the other was about the same height with a black hair in a Combover. The bald one spoke first.

“Show your ID badge and hand us your radio and cell phone. You will receive them back when you leave the office. If you run out of supplies there ask one of us and well get more for you. Do not Disturb the President. Be Careful of the things inside the office and take extreme care around the president’s desk. Do not touch the computer in there.” He waited for the Janitor to comply. Each of these people had 9mm Berretta holstered on their waist. The other man had the wand ready for another scan. Each of these men kept a stoic facial expression at this particular moment in time.

Meanwhile, in the office...

Rufus had shut down the computer and started looking over a printed version of the Stock Holder’s annual report. This wasn’t due for about a month but he wanted to have it finalized and make sure it is ready because it would take time to have all the copies printed and sent out to the Stock holders worldwide. Though this was technically a family owned business, the scale the company is now would not have been as large without the stock holders’ investments to. He sighed and got up from the desk and went to a cupboard in the office where there was some top shelf beverages of choice. He grab a bottle of Scotch and a cup. He put some ice from an Ice bucket into the glass and poured himself some Scotch and sat in a lounge chair and casually began to drink it as he continued to look over the report. This would be the closest thing to a break he would get in his office whenever he was working. Even though he owned the company his job doesn’t have set times when he starts and finishes. To Rufus, it was a 24 hour job.

Already in the air vents from sneaking in through the parking garage three days earlier Isaac was more than eager to get this mission going. It smelled of sweat and a little bit of urine from when he over filled a bottle. He was simply watching the entrance of the computer room and waiting for Beau to come by and open it, signaling Isaac that it was time to start. Despite him running a bit late, this was supposed to be a simple mission. Isaac had left everything behind and only kept four bottles of what used to be water, which he was going to leave behind along with some wrappers, a suppressed Beretta Px4 Storm pistol with a few extra clips, and a back pack full of handy widgets. As Beau came on the radio the first time Isaac unholstered his pistol and took the safety off. The second time, it was more of a disappointment. Pressing on his ear piece Isaac spoke, "Yo boss. What do you want me to do about this? I could try and proceed without him, but I'm gonna have to leave some unconscious bodies at the very least."

This deal's getting worse all the time,' Beauregard thought as the elevator rode up. Then there came the speech once the elevator had reached its destination floor. Whenever his supervisor wasn't staring dead at him, the undercover mercenary was sure to be rolling his eyes. He sure as hell did not like the idea of another scan. 'Oh, what's that, boss-man? The President would fire me if he caught me snooping around his office? No... say it ain't so,' he thought and the thought put a grin on his face. He adopted the foreign worker persona again and apologized to the man in the elevator.

Before he could even catch his breath, the suited goons were upon him. Beauregard dreaded he didn't even have chance for some stealth. Looks like things were going to have to get messy. But not quite yet. Right now, he was going to play the strange, foreign employee who doesn't quite know what he's doing. "ID... ID,"[b] he said as he detached the ID from its retractable lanyard and put it into one guard's hands. Then he took his radio and put it in the hands of the other. Then he took his faux radio and handed to the other, [b]"First radio broke, no good, told me to just hold onto it." he smiled and then took his belt off and draped it over the shoulder of on of the guards. Then he emptied his pockets and kept trying to hand more and more stuff to these two goons who obviously didn't think that an in-depth search would require at least a table to set personal items on. Then Beauregard said, "Are you familiar with C4?" And he lunged for one of the Berettas ((OOC: I am assuming it's an M9 or other Beretta 92 series pistol.)) with lightning quick hands.

Hypothetically, his dextrous hands could undo any safety features found on the holsters and have the gun on them before they could drop his stuff and the detection wand. If he somehow utterly failed, he'd toss his hands up. Either way, he'd say the following words, "Don't shoot, stay off the radio or this whole place goes boom. C4 everywhere, every floor, even inside me. Know what a dead man switch is? Do you want to die today?" If he couldn't wrestle the gun from its holster, this tactic could definitely buy some time. If he got the gun, it would at least hopefully keep the guards off the radio and warning everyone. I mean, being blown to bits by a terrorist janitor would suck.

OOC: Apologies for the wait guys. New semester caught me flat footed. Short post, just a radio message to Bandit.

"We mapped out the route he'd take to get to the office. Double back around and give his escorts a surprise. Once you get to Beauregard, proceed to the objective as quickly as possible. Remember the intel, as far as they know you're an eco-terrorist."

The two guards in suites were caught a tad off guard. They were hired by Rufus to be his protection and were no push overs. The bald one yelled out "Assassin" at the top of his lungs in Japanese so Rufus could hear while dropping the gear in his hand at the first sign of hostile movement from the Janitor. He then grabbed his gun and pointed it at the Intruder. His partner's gun was almost taken from him but had wrestled free and pushed the janitor back and raised his gun. It was somewhat favorable odds in favor of the Guards until they heard the words C4 and dead man's trigger. Granted they both had guns pointed at the man, but the question now was if he was bluffing or telling the truth. Not taking any chances the guards stood there not lowering their weapons.

Rufus had finished his drink when he heard yelling from outside his office door. He was just about to call for a car too. He got up and walked to the door and opened just in time to hear the bit about C4. Rufus knowing all too well about a Dead Man's switch sighed as he saw no immediate signs that the switch existed on the person. But he could be wrong better safe than sorry. "Excuse my employees, they don't know how to treat a guest. Rufus said as he held the door open and motioned for the guards to lower their guns. Why don't you come in and have a drink? We can have a nice little chat about this entire affair and I'm sure we can reach a reasonable solution that would please us both.

((Looks like Isaac ain't posting.))

Beauregard gritted his teeth when the guards yelled in some foreign tongue. As he had hoped for, his bluff did stop them from turning the mercenary into Swiss cheese. He stood their with his hands harmlessly stuck into the air. Then his eyes drifted to the man walking out of the office. He expected a hard time and was thrown off for a second by the pleasantries. They put a grin on his face. "You have manners." he grinned and his hands drooped. "Your men are coming inside, they will hand me their radios and weapons, and we'll talk business. I hear you like talking business." Beauregard nodded at the guards, let his hands dropped completely, then slowly and deliberately grabbed his dropped belongings. Then he said to Rufus, in his native tongue, "You speak English? English is better for me. I picked up most of my French from legionnaires and in ol' Africa." The poor French was good enough to play the immigrant worker card, but now he needed a little more finesse.

"Oh," Beauregard added, "And I wasn't bluffing about the dead man switch. You heard that, right? Yeah. Old, manual switches are old-hat. Internal, automatic ones, though. They're neat. Hard to get past security, though. Thank goodness I have more plates and screws in me than a tractor." Beauregard added air quotes when he mentioned the plates and screws. Then he gave a shit eating grin to Rufus.

He stepped towards the office, fully ready to go in and talk civilly. He stopped and eyed his new troupe. "Come on, now. Guns, radios, and phones. I ain't the only one here that can make this place go boom. Oh, and since I'm playing hostage taker, keep your hands where I can see them, yadda-yadda, and stay away from any electronics." His characteristic toothy grin never left the mercenary's face.

Rufus was pleased to hear that this person was reasonable. However it concerned him that he was willingly negotiate. There was something else to this man, he wasn't a normal terrorist. Rufus even questioned if he was a terrorist at all. He became to relaxed and to certain that he had control over the situation. What was he after? It couldn't have been to kill Rufus, other he would've blown up the building as soon as Rufus opened the door. Rufus evened gave the thought that it was a corporate espionage scandal. However all would be revealed in the next few minutes. "My men will leave their guns and the equipment out here as would you. They will be in the office behind me at all times with their hands showing. Seeing as you have a dead-man's switch on you we are not in a position of making hasty decisions." Rufus said as he entered the office he didn't care either way he just said that to see how strict this man would be with the inevitable demands he would ask Rufus. Rufus was more than capable of defending himself and was never truly unarmed. He had a weapons concealed on person and in choice places in his office. If he didn't give Rufus this concession Rufus would receive one later. He sat behind his desk with his together in his lap.

((I'm just going to assume Isaac isn't posting until I hear otherwise.))

"Guns? Ain't got none on me. Equipment? Yeah, sure. I'll leave my multitool and MP3 player outside. You never know, I might be rascally." Of course, he didn't leave anything in that hall. Beauregard kept grinning as he walked into the office and marched towards the window and idly scratched at the glass. His eyes scanned the buildings around the ShinRa HQ, looking for Pip. He didn't see him. Moving away from the window, he flopped down in a chair opposite where Rufus usually sits and turned on his radio to the Geese channel. "Pervert, be advised. This is King Rat... or was it Rat King? Either way, cover blown, I'm in the big boss's office, having a nice chat and talking business. If you see the Bandito, make sure he drops by. If you want to say anything to the big boss, I'll leave my radio on. Switch to back up channel for covert talk."

Beauregard returned his attention to the matter at hand. "Hands away from a keyboard, above the desk. No need for silent alarms or anything. Let's get started." He pointed to the computer's tower. "For starters, I'm taking that with me. The whole shebang, especially the hard drive. Now for your side of this bargain, this doesn't have to leak to the media. Stocks stay high and no one is none the wiser. That's what you like, right? High stock prices?" The mercenary twiddled his thumbs and looked disconnected from the situation, but his beady eyes kept jumping around at the men in the room and their hands, showing that he was indeed paying attention. "And of course, Pervert, Bandito, number three, number four, Tarr-man, The Mole, Inside Man, and number twelve won't be pressing any buttons that make bad things happen around this building OR causing dangerous shenanigans." Beauregard was still grinning as he leaned in and waited for a reply.

Rufus complied but smirked, this person had no idea how Rufus ran his company or protected its secrets. "You can have the tower, but in exchange I want to have a drink with you." Rufus said as he snapped his fingers and one of his body guards went and grabbed a bottle of Whiskey and two glasses. The glasses were crystal and seemed expensive. "Also take off your gloves, these glasses where a gift from the French Ambassador, don't soil them with your work gloves." Rufus wouldn't let this man get away with it. The bottle was a special brew. If he didn't take off the gloves then Rufus would find out another way. The brand was an American Brew. Rufus knew the family who owned a brewery and had made a request for this bottle to have an High alcohol content and to include a strong dosage of Sodium Pentothal. It would be hard to resist with the effects alcohol produced. The bottle was also sealed to give the illusion it.

Rufus didn't mind him taking the tower. He was the only one who can access the offsite server where all company information from this branch was being kept. They would have to not only use a company router, but they would need the access code which is personalized per branch per employee who had access. They would have to go to Tokyo in order to use it because Rufus would have this branches service cut the moment this person left Rufus's office. Rufus wanted to know this person's identity so he could find him and who he worked for so he could make them regret doing this.

His radio blaring to life once more, Pip lightly adjusted his angle so that his rifle was trained on Shinra's office itself. With those windows as they were getting a proper shot could prove challenging, but by no means impossible. Reaching up to his the talk button, Pip took an oppurtunity to enter the conversation. "Hold on a second there Rat King. Mr. Shinra, I must apologize for not being there in person but this view is just so nice. I can appreciate your generosity but let's not go exchanging finger prints on the first date, comprends?" he said, code switching a bit into his native language. "All that aside, thank you for the tower. Now if you'd be nice enough to throw in the passwords we can talk about something else in return." Under the cover of his urban camo tarp, Pip lit another cigarette. This wasn't necessarily a bad situation. Shinra didn't seem to be up there with the regular crazies the Geese dealt with. He was a business man, all they had to do was figure out a fair exchange that didn't betray the identity of the Hellsing organization. How easy that negotiation would become was the sketchy part.

"Fingerprints? You really think I was gonna slip up that bad, Pervert? Might as well just hand over my old military I.D. while I'm at it." He exhaled through parted teeth as his eyes wandered back to Shinra. "Uh, oh. Think I just gave Sherlock here a clue." Beauregard stood up and started to unplug a few cords on the back of the computer, looking closely for and mechanical traps which he was so familiar with. "Can't drink now, Mister ShinRa. I will take the bottle on the way out." He peeked up at the head of the corporation. Still grinning, but now the grin looked like a mocking grin. Then his expression changed, like he'd forgotten something, he stopped grinning, looked worried, and touched his radio. "Inside Man and Mole, hold off. Keep the hostages safe and sound. Maintain radio silence." Beauregard let out a relieved sigh. Inside his head he was laughing at the situation. These code names and non-existent people were fun to play with and he only wondered what was going through Rufus ShinRa's head.

As he got back to work, he spoke,"Alright ShinRa, start spewing and codes you know, your birth date, and your mother's maiden name. A man on the radio will be recording everything you say. Also, don't lie. I mean, you can. It would be a shame to have to come back, though. ESPECIALLY since it seems we'll wrap things up here without wanton violence."

Rufus kept a stoic face. He was growing tired of this particular person. He had little patience for disrespect and this person and the person on the radio. He wanted them out of his office. He reached into his guess and contemplated pulling the trigger of the shotgun that was on the underside of his desk. He decided against it seeing as there was a sniper on the roofs most likely a block away. The windows were tough but Rufus didn't know the make and model of the rifle. He instead took out a pad and paper and wrote down all the information asked for. With the exception of the correct passwords. He wrote it all in his native language. The passwords he purposefully wrote a mixture of the correct and wrong Kanji. He changed certain stroke orders and how they looked so it would be impossible for someone who isn't fluent in Japanese writing to notice the mistakes.

"Here is my login information all the data you seek should be on the hard drive, how ever you won't be able to access the company network. Because I assume you would know that I could easily make a single phone call and above all passwords reset and change before you even leave the building. And correct me if I am wrong but this is really distasteful taking hostages but that could just be a ploy because you and your friend are not terrorists. If you were you would've taken me Hostage and/or blown up my building. If I were to take a guess you are a mercenary group. Now as to which one, that will be difficult but rest assured I will find out who you are and you will pay for this." Rufus said as he had his bodyguards disconnect the tower and hand it to the man sitting there. Rufus slid the piece of paper with the information towards the man. "Before you leave both of you tell me your names. Then our business would be concluded you do that and I will wait an extra day before changing the passwords."

Beauregard hoisted the tower up onto his shoulder and nodded at the two guards. "Thank you, kindly." He then proceeded to take the notes and the bottle of whiskey, slipping them into his pockets as ShinRa spoke. His expression did not change even after the speech was wrapped up. "A few things, boss. I don't know shit about computers, that's why I'm taking this whole thing with me so someone better than me can crack it open for all its goodies. Better than the Plan B which was having me try to get into it, but I was prepared to try. Second of all, you can keep the gun I hid in one of your janitor's closets. Second of all," he bowed his head as he spoke, "Beauregard Nikhals the Second here." The mercenary gave a hearty laugh. "Have fun reading the files. I just hope they got my best stories in there. But you won't find anything about my current employer. Thank God for pseudonyms and fake IDs. You won't find me. Although, you miiight could contact me if you needed a job. I look forward to working with you. I work best in demolitions, assassinations, unconventional warfare, and doctoring. Stealth and cyber terrorism, though... that's not my strong point as you can tell. Consider yourself lucky." He parted his teeth and exhaled.

"Now, I'll be leaving, accosted and untouched. I want no police, no security for... oh, two hours? Yeah, two hours is good. So call ahead to your own boys to let me out, wait a while and then you can evac the place, call up the local bomb squad, and have sniff around for C4. I'll be long gone, with nothing but a long, looong string of contacts and dead drops between me and you. I'll be waiting on the fanmail." Beauregard winked. When he had his back to the door, ready to leave, he gave just a few minutes for last words from either Rufus or Pip. Seems like things were going to end pretty well with this one.

OOC: Once again, merely posting Pip's commentary via Beau's radio. Consider the Frenchman still chilling on his rooftop perch.

"I do appreciate the kindness Mister Shinra. As for the hostages, a job is a job. For the right pay I'd even fell my own mother, may she rest in piece. My name is Andrew McLaglen. I won't lie and say this has been a pleasure for any of us but it was a nice change of pace to settle things peacefully for once. Enjoy the rest of your night."

Rufus smirked when at he ehard the names. He couldn't decide they were either aliases or the real deal right then and there but it was a start. He had plenty of resources to find them in due time. However seeing the tower on Mr.Nikhals shoulder, he took an opportunity and spoke, "By the way I never said the twoer needed to be in working order." As he spoke he reached into his jacket aand puled out his personal side arm and put two bullets into the bottom of the tower. Should be enough force to have it fall to the ground causing more damage, if not then it would delay them a little bit because the mother board and most likely the hard drive would be damaged. He then picked up his office phone and complied with the Mercenaries demands to let them leave the building relatively easy, in exchange for the supposed hostages. "Now our business is done, you will hear from me soon enough Mr.Nikhals as well as your employer. Whoever that person may be."

Beauregard was already heading out the door, his back to Rufus, when the shots rang out. Beauregard dropped to the ground, and scrambled to the the door frame, snatching at and dragging the busted tower with him. "Aw, man. That was low. That's almost enough to piss me off." Beauregard peeked around the corner and kind of wished he did just rig the building with C4 just so he could blow it on the way out. "You win this day!" Shaking his fist in full view of the president. He only hoped he could salvage something from the hard drive.

This mission was beyond saving mostly because Beauregard had no real cards with which to retaliate, instead he reached up and tugged at the fire alarm, causing sirens to blair and sprinklers to go off on this floor. Covering the tower with his body, he quickly made his way down the stairs with the flurry of escaping workers. "Pip, mission failed. All I have is what's left of the tower. Change of plans, pick me up outside and get us out of here instead of a whirly bird picking me up on the roof." Even if Rufus wanted to pinch him on the way out, grabbing him would be too tough in the crowd. Inside the mercenary, thoughts of a personal vendetta were taking hold.

After a fairly decent drive through traffic they finally arrived at ShinRa Electic Regional Headquarters.  The building itself was typical of a electric company.  She waited patiently for the man to open up the door, and stepped out when he did.  Then she waited for Mato to get out before heading inside where they immediately were stopped by security for a scan.  Integra handed them her ID, and her gun before walking through the scanner.  When she was done they handed everything back to her.  Now the interesting part would be Mato.  Maybe she would set a new record.

Mato followed Integra this far, but seeing the guards and the metal detector, she swallowed a bit.
BEEP, it went as she tried to go through.
"Excuse me, Miss. Please put down all metallic objects into the tray."  said the man, pointing at a small titanium tray next to her with his baton.
"I`m her bodyguard, damnit. I have a right to bear arms." Still he won´t budge, so groaning once, Mato got to unpacking. Though it was funny to see the man choke on his laughter as he saw what she was really packing at this time... first was the shotgun, an obvious threat, next to sword, handguns and ammunition...  another attempt to go through.
BEEP. "God damnit."
She also put down the tactical knife she was carrying, as well as her boots which had metallic lineings and clips. Finally, her belt along with the empty gun holsters went into it, as well as the coat for its metallic zippers and buttons.
BEEP.
She blushed faintly. "You`ve got to be kidding me."
Groaning, she went back once more, took the pants off which also had some metal zippers, buttons, et cetera and fumbled around in her bra, until her hands produced two small metal pins with pearls on each side- nipple piercings, which finally were placed in the tray as well.
BEEP. This time though, the assistant of the guard winked her through.
"Let her through Geràld, that seems to be a bullet of some sort inside her body. She`s clear otherwise."
The ususally emotionless Mato was about to explode in rage. "You could see a bullet inside my ribcage but you didn`t see my piercings? What kind of perverted fucks are you people, anyway?" Realizing that wouldn´t help Integra in the slightest, she huffed and pulled the tiny tray full of objects through a seperate scanner.... though she really had to drag on it hard, and the metal detector went crazy as she did. Dressing back up, she crossed her arms as she was finally done.
"I hope we´re here to recieve some enormous business opportunity or something."

On the other end of the lobby an elevator a man with long black hair and a a Bindi in the middle of his forehead.  He was wearing a black suite with a black tie and a white button down dress shirt and black dress shoes, stepped out of it and headed towards the two visitors.  He arrived just in time to hear the end of the unwarranted search of the female body guard.  "Is there a problem here gentlemen," He said in a bit of a harsh tone.  The two guards clamped up and hesitantly turned around and spoke french to the man and the one named Gerald walked away looking cross.  The man turned to the visitors. "Hello, My name is Tseng,  I am in charge of the Presidents security detail and consequently security of the entire corporation where ever the President is currently staying.  He is currently in a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador to France and will be arriving shortly.  He instructed me to take you up to his office and begin discussing some things that we decided to change with the contract.  So if you follow me, please." Tseng said before moving back to the elevator and swiping his key card to call the elevator.

Integra turned her head as soon as she heard another mans voice.  This was then proceeded by a conversation in French.  However, soon enough the man introduced himself as head of security.  While she didn't like the fact that she would be talking to him for a while instead of ShinRa it was better than nothing.  Still she was not entirely possible she could trust him.  Very well.  She looked over her shoulder, and instructed Mato.  Behave in the meeting  All you need to do is stand behind me.  Nothing else.  With that she walked over towards the elevator as it opened, and stepped inside.

Seeing the new man arrive right after she pulled up her pants, Mato decided she already liked him more than the other two... and for bodyguards, this was not always a good thing. Usually, the dumber they are, the more you don`t like them and the better you can bypass them... if he was this charismatic to her, chances were he wasn´t easily fooled.
Shrugging it off in her mind, Mato nodded at Integra`s instructions.
"Got it. Seems easy enough so long as this isn`t some sort of elaborate Bond-villian trap."
She was still expecting the worst, but she entered the elevator with an open mind and decided to hope for the best instead.

Tseng was about to step in the elevator but was stopped by on of the hired security guards who searched Mato and Integra in order to hand him a file. Tseng said thank you and sent him back to duty. Tseng pressed a button and the elevator brought them to the the top floor of the building, where Rufus's office was.  Tseng walked down the hallway where there were only two other people,  another security guard and an American female with blonde hair and blue eyes who was sitting at a desk.  When the girl saw Tseng she almost immediately snapped to attention.  "Elena pat our guests down one last time before we enter the office, also do we have an concrete ETA on the President's arrival?" Tseng asked.

"No, Reno checked in and said that they were still discussing the work Visa's for us. Apparently the Ambassader disapproves President Rufus having all of us here.  He's scared that we are up to something. And I'll get right on that." Elena said as she got up and approached the two women.  She had a wand for detecting weapons and certain types of metals.  "I am under orders to confiscate all weapons that is not categorized has a handgun. On request of the President we ask that you only bring one firearm per person any other weapons will be locked in a closet by the desk Which only members of the Turks have access to. Both Tseng and I will be in meeting so there will be proof that we are not tampering with your weapons.  She waited for the two women to react or comply.

After arriving on the floor, and exiting Integra started to scan the walls.  Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so far for a business office.  Finally the hallway opened up into a receiving area.  It annoyed Integra though that they would be going through a third pat down.  Really not even the Queen had such security.  Well then again that not was entirely true considering there was always several armed guards at the meetings with the round table where the Queen was included along with Alucard.  Still as she listened in it was very interesting that the employees would talk about such matters in front of people.  She would think such things would be whispered.  Then again it might be on purpose.  Integra really had no figured out ShinRa yet.  Upon hearing the woman in front of her she opened up her suit jacket, and showed she had only one handgun.  I suppose this meets your approval?

Mato gritted her teeth. The woman was pretty, but behind the pretty face was another person she didn`t like. Who the hell was this ShinRa anyway..? An eccentric millionaire, yes, but apperantly also paranoid to the core. A grumble later, she pointed over to the guard, ready to unleash verbal hell.
"Listen you, we can do this the hard way, or-"
Seeing Integra open her jacket and reveal her only means of armament, Mato blinked- was it wise to put the cards on the table when she, her bodyguard, was asked for a weapons check?
"I guess the easy way it is, then... Okay."
Once again, she armed down, carelessly tossing the unloaded shotgun at the female guard- she´d have to catch it if she didn´t want to get knocked in the face. Afterward, the magazines for it as well as her blades followed- she handed those to the male guard as the female was a bit occupied otherwise.
"Don`t get a scratch on it. Thats all i´m saying."
If you do when i take it back, your face will have several scratches. Seven inch deep ones. She only thought that to herself, but opening her coat and revealing the double backholster she wore, she glared a bit.
"If a pistol is fine, then two will be fine as well, yes?"

Elena quickly inspected the pistol by checking the chamber, the clip that was in there and made sure the safety was on before handing it back to Integra with a nod saying that it is alright.  She just barely  caught the shotgun, but she turned around and put it in the closet while Tseng put the other weapons in there.  She was about to speak but Tseng had cut her off saying "We'll make an exception this time." Tseng said as Elena shot him a confused glance and Tseng returned with a barely noticeable glare and Elena looked straight ahead.  "Follow me to the office." Tseng led Integra and mato into the office.  Elena followed and closed the door behind the group.

When Tseng entered the office he immeadiately pulled out his firearm and pointed it at a man sitting behind Rufus's desk who put his hands up.  Tseng put his weapon down after realizing who it was.  "Director Tuesti, I was unaware of your arrival."  The man who was sitting at the desk was Reeve Tuesti, a close friend of Rufus's within the company.  "Well I was in germany yesterday securing permits so we can begin building local branches.  Before that Rufus told me to keep certain paperwork on me, and he called yesterday and asked me to bring it today.  He gave me a key to the office earlier and told me to wait for him here.  Reeve noticed the two females that were obviously guests.  "Pardon me, My name is Reeve Tuesti,  I am directo of urban planning and development with the Company,  I also handle legalities, as well as Rufus Appointed me as the Unofficial Vice President. I actually drafted this new contract so please take a seat and we can hopefully have this done before Rufus arrives"

Integra noticed right away the man known as Tseng allowed Mato to get away with one small thing.  However, just because they were being nice to her so far would not mean it would last into the meeting.  She followed the man into the office, and immediately was taken aback by someone else in there.  Obviously this was not ShinRa, and she was not sure who this man was.  Mr. Tuesti was apparently his name.  I was under the impression Mr. Tseng here would be handling things.  Obviously that was a misunderstanding.  She glared a little over at Mr. Tseng, and then took a seat across from Mr. Tuesti.  However, I am positive something can be agreed upon.  I hope you do not mind my bit of security behind me.  She knows nothing of the first meeting, nor does anyone else as originally requested.

Out of instinct, Mato`s hands shot over to her own pistols as Tseng reached for his, then relaxed her grip again and forced herself to calm down. Certainly didn´t get any better as time progressed, this trip to France.
As requested by Integra, she kept quiet and listened to the man and the woman talking, though she couldn´t hold herself back to give off a little quip.
"Obviously, Mr ShinRa must be very busy if his assistant handles a meeting with a knight of Her Majesty. Or he trusts us even less than i expected, even after all those guards and metal detectors."
Her mind said much more things she didn`t dare to speak. Not yet, at least.
This smells like an entire fish market. The headquarters of an electronics company is guarded like the fucking white house and even after ASKING us to come to meet him, Mr ShinRa himself isn`t even here? A businessman of his caliber wouldn´t leave a guest waiting without a reason. A very good reason that might get him shot and killed, or else he´d be here, guarded by his obviously hardassed bodyguards.

Reeve laughed nervously at Mato's comment.  He was unsure how to respond to it but that wasn't the priority here. Before speaking he logged into the computer and pulled up some information.  Th information he looked up was the security footage of Rufus's office when the company was attacked  "All sarcasm aside,  This contract is a re-write.  To explain it briefly, we fund your organization for one and a half fiscal years based on your current budgets as well as what is being added in the second clause of this contract.  The money will come in two lump-sum payments paid directly to your name.  Now the second part is different from what Rufus's told.  Please note that I only know this one and that Rufus merely pointed out that the second part was different.  In this contract we feel it is best we cut all ties as thoroughly as possible.  We believe that the most effective way, is to not only cut further contact but also repossess any of our products that you may have. This also includes products of Companies that ShinRa Electric or ShinRa Manufacturing owns.  We will only repossess the product if we can provide the proper paper work that we made it or a company we own has made it. we will reimburse in the form of adding 50% of what the total cost to make each product to your budget." Reeve said has he stopped and took a breath.

He took out two packets of paper which were the contract that he just finished explaining.  The packet was five pages mostly explaining the grounds and paper work required in order for the budget payments to happen and the ones required to repossess the products.  One stipulation is that a ShinRa representative must present all paperwork proving that they own the company and that companies proof of manufacturing the product before the Representative could repossess the products.

While Reeve was talking Tseng had received a call on his phone and stepped out of the office.  He was wary of Mato being uneasy.  He is afraid that she would pull a trigger if she feels threatened.  The phone call was from Rufus saying they are about to land and to meet him on the helipad.  However, Rufus wanted Integra and Mato unattended. Tseng was confused but didn't object.  He went into the office to tell Reeve and Elena once Reeve finished talking.  I am sorry to interrupt but that was the President.  Director Tuetsi, Elena, he wants us to meet him with he lands. Sir Integra, he asked that you and your body guard to stay here, we will only be gone at most five minutes."

The three stepped out of a side door that led to a helipad on the roof.  It wasn't long for the Company Helicopter to appear and land.  Rufus was rather frustrated that the Ambassador was difficult in approving the Visa's for his japanese workers that he was bringing.  The meeting lasted longer than he wanted.  He was already expecting his next meeting to add on to his fustration, but unlike the Ambassador, Rufus was more prepared for this meeting.

Integra listened intently as Mr. Tuesti rattled off a summary of the new contract.  One thing she did not like was the idea of him repossessing anything of hers.  She worked hard to get those weapons approved for Penwood to get them.  At the very least at least Walters own weapons would not be involved.  Still if she was going to bypass this she would have to see if anyone knew how to make weapons by hand like Walter.  Then again of course such a thing was hard to come by.  Which means she was left with very few options to counter this.  However, her thought process was interrupted when the man from before, Mr. Tseng, came in and said that three of them would have to leave in the middle of the meeting while Integra and Mato stayed.  Right away this seemed suspicious.  Perhaps this was a trap of verbal sorts to see if she would reveal or say anything.  Which she would not.  She would wait patiently.  Integra knew though that Mato would not like the looks of this.  Feeling a bit tired from the flight though she covered up her mouth for a yawn, and waited for Mr. ShinRa to show himself.

Mato muttered something to herself, quietly, while standing behind Integra to cover her from anything that might endanger her. This was getting ridiculous- but she had to remind herself who she was in this meeting. A bodyguard, nothing more. She wasn´t Walter who had the authority to give her advice. She wasn`t Alucard who had the licence to kill whenever he saw fit. And she wasn`t Seras, who would just ignore everything and think of girly things in her head while dozing off.

She wished she could be either one of them, but she was a bodyguard- a guard with her hands tied.
Well, think of it on the bright side. She thought, they didn`t try anything yet.

Orphanage <---

Though planning to return to the Hellsing mansion, Alucard remembered he had another job to do; the ShinRa affair. His master would be there at the moment, so there was no point in returning home just yet. Rather than a plane, he went by train, making it to France in a matter of hours. As best he could tell, he wasn't too late, so he decided to enter the building. The ashes of their vampire agent still resting within him, he was prepared for when he was asked about the events that transpired at the Vatican.

Emerging from the floor behind both Mato and Integra, he payed no mind to what was going on around him. "Hello, my master. I apologize for being late, but that other business you assigned for me took a bit longer than I expected." Finally acknowledging his surroundings, a wide smile broke upon his face at the realization ShinRa was not there. "It seems I'm right on time after all." It certainly was an amusing prospect; he knew how much his master valued punctuality and disliked having to wait, so he was expecting quite a show once the man finally arrived.

Off in the distance, he heard the helicopter arriving, his smile growing wider by the minute. Though he'd rather be taking a rest back in his coffin, this was too much fun to pass up. He wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this man, only having seen him very briefly, but everything about the current state of affairs foreshadowed a very lively conversation on the horizon.

The helicopter landed and Rufus stepped out after telling the pilot to keep it running.  Rufus approached the three employees who were waiting for him.  "So what is the situation in there Reeve? Rufus asked Reeve. Reeve reported on the situation and Rufus merely smirked before walking into his office with his entourage.  Rufus Sat down on his desk. He noticed Alucard was there.  "Sorry for my tardiness, I was in a meeting with Japan's Ambassador to France.  It lasted longer than it should have and you have my sincerest apologies.  am I right to assume that Reeve had explained the new contract?" He said with a slight bow and without skipping a beat.

She felt Alucard near by, and eventually he entered the room.  You are to remain quiet like Mato.  We can talk about your mission later on back at the mansion.  For now do not do anything.  That is an order.  Right after she talked to Alucard Rufus ShinRa came into the room.  That is correct he did, and I have an offer to make to change part of the contract that I believe you will be interested in hearing.  Also I believe you remember Alucard.  His appearance was unexpected here.  I hope you do not mind though.  Integra smirked, and waited a little bit before continuing.  Here is my offer to you Mr. ShinRa.  In order to keep you from repossessing our weapons, and everything else that was provided to us I will pay you.  I am sure of course we can negotiate a price that will make both of us happy.

Most people, men and women alike, were terrified whenever Alucard showed up. Hellsing members were ususally used to his "appearing out of nowhere" shtick but even then they ususally pissed their pants whenever he did. For once, Mato was glad he was here- because with a more than six feet tall, legendary vampire with handguns bigger than her torso in his coat, ShinRa wouldn´t dare to raise his voice and his petty bodyguards would have one hell of a time even amusing him, let alone hurt him.
Which meant this was the time when she could doze off... or rather, think about how she was getting out alive if he raised hell.
Fact is, she would no longer have to worry about ShinRa or Integra, because Alucard had been doing this job for decades... while this was her first attempt at it.

Quietly, she nudged him and whispered:
"You gotta show me how you do that. Getting past all the guards and scanners and cameras- would´ve spared me a lot of embarressing trouble today."

Yes, she nudged him. Being a friend of Seras, she wasn`t preticulary scared of touching a vampire, no matter how old and powerful he might be.

The vampire's smile grew with his master's command. "Of course. I'll be on my best behavior," he replied, imagining a room full of people taking bets on how long that promise would last. Though he felt her conduct was a bit unprofessional (as if he was one to judge), he gave Mato a sly smile; maybe he would some time. Introduced to ShinRa, he gave a small bow of formality, never removing his gaze from the man. He wondered what the proposition would be, and if he'd get to make a snack of one of the bodyguards in the room. He was still hungry from earlier.

((tegs was out of commission for a while, was holding off till I got word she would be back to posting capabilities, on her word shuold be tomorrow. Sorry though))

Rufus couldn't say he wasn't intrigued considering the position she just put him in.  He was able to set the price and it could be what ever.  Gave him room to toy around with but also if she didn't agree to it, he still had a potential law suite up his sleeve.  "two hundred percent of retail price after factoring in inflation.  All taxes will still apply.  I expect payment in full by the end of the year if you so accept. Rufus said leaning back in his chair.  He would await Integra's reaction, obviously she would be angry because of the price, but it would be interesting to say the least.  The other ShinRa employees stood there and look a little confused at the steep price.

Integra knew she had him interested now.  After all businessmen loved it when they were able to make money for whatever they spent it on be it company or not.  The price he proposed though was a little steep for her liking.  Carefully though she thought it over a bit before making a counter offer.  It was like a game of monopoly played by the official rules.  If she could get the price just low enough for her, but just right for him it would be less of a strain.  One hundred fifty percent.  Taxes applied as you say, and also by the end of the year.  I think that is a fair price.
