{Due to the talk ive had with Tod, Since i haven't made a single post with him, I'd like to drop Stein for this character.}

Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? If not please direct your attention to youtube, and watch OVA 1-4 at least. Warning: If you have watched the anime we require you watch the OVA, or read the manga. The anime is not canon. This is not our opinion. This is the law set down by the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano. Ive read all the manga, seen all but the last OVA, I even recently read The Dawn and Cross fire.

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Physical appearance: Looking at her up close, you can tell she is of Latin descent. In terms of physical fitness, she would be considered a runt, to a body builder anyway, having almost no body fat and being covered in lean, tight muscle, built for quick movements and more of a "brawling" type body build. Tethra is around five-foot even with long bright pink, hair that comes down to her lower back. Pink eyes with black pupils that have dark circles under them from long hours of staying up, they seem to hold a deep hatred within them as they look out at the world around her. Holding her well toned body up are long slender legs with soft vanilla skin. Upon her torso, a large bust that adorns her chest which she keeps covered by nothing but a white tank-top, which does almost nothing to help keep it hidden. Her body is covered in twisting line-like tattoos which are mostly hidden by her clothes, however her back is bare of them, instead of twisting lines on her back, she bares a tattoo of a old story about a crow. Over her left eye is a scar or rather a indent, from when she was hit in the head when she was young.

Clothing of choice: Normally seen in a white tank top that is so small her natural gifts upon her chest pull it up so much her stomach is revealed, she also wears black military style pants covered in multiple pockets and straps. She wears a ring around her left ankle and a pair of fingerless, black leather gloves to protect her hands. On her feet are a pair of custom made black combat boots that have the image of a skull sewn on the side, on both boots, that have a metal plate on the bottom that runs along the entire under side of the shoe, from the heel all the way to the toes. To go with this look she keeps her hair down and lets it flow freely.

Weaponry of choice: Tethra prefers to use her natural abilities in battle but in terms of firepower, Amara doesn't screw around with handguns since she's a horrible shot. Instead of handguns, she brings the big guns to the table. She's almost always seen carrying around a Remington 1100 Tactical Shotgun in 12 gauge— has an eight shot capacity and the most common rounds Amara utilizes are blessed buck shot to make up for her poor aim, she doesn't seem to have to much trouble firing it even with her puny size, due to her training.

In close combat she normally uses two carbon steel machetes, each one has a two inch long handle for one handed use and has a blade length of 15 inches each. She normally keeps both of them on the back of her waist.

Race: Special Human

Abilities: Tethra is one of the worlds strongest Psychokinetic's, argumented threw genetic mutation and a natural ability to make matter move at the micro or macro (visible objects, life forms, she's even able to manipulate air molecules to some extent) levels; move, lift, agitate, vibrate, spin, bend, break, or impact) things with her mind, the ability she was born with called Psychokinesis. Able to lift objects with her mind, send them flying, bend them, or even crush them to some extent when angered. Utilizing the power of the mind and by manipulating physical energy in the room around her. However, this is limited to certain weight limits and density levels. While normally not angered and calm, she is able to lift most things that weight up to or less then 165 pounds in weight, for simply lifting them and throwing them across the room at someone, and even utilize small sharp objects, such as nails, pens, needles, or other small sharp objects and send them flying toward someone at speeds barely enough to stab into flesh. .. However, her limits vary when angered, fueled by rage and anger, her weight limits increase, allowing her to lift most things around 350 pounds or less and send it flying at someone. However, bending things with her mind takes much more concentration and focus then simply lifting something and throwing it. She can even cock guns and have them fire without touching them.

Bending small things such as hollow pipes and small pieces of metal {cant be more then 2 inches thick}. Like lifting objects her limits increase with her anger, while pissed off her mental ability increases, allowing her to snap 10 inch long pipes in half and even bend and break metal 4 inches thick, though doing this takes a massive mental drain on her, and she'll most likely just send what ever she picks up flying at someone. Crushing something with her mental ability takes a much more massive drain on her, almost to the point of collapsing or fainting, it is only possible when in a enraged state as well, crushing, or otherwise completely destroying something with a mental wave, for her to do something like this it would have to be something rather small, such as a small chair, a desk or small table, she can even crush small handguns and even larger ones if enraged.

Along with the ability to move objects with her mind and bend them, she also has the ability to create a mental wave or force field to protect herself from close range attacks, the field or "wave" can be seen threw very vivid ripples that form in the air, almost like heatwaves but much more clearer, this cannot be used to block bullets however, it is merely used to knock people off of their feet. Though this can act as a sort of "Wall" against flame that put off heat or be used to push away smoke or gas, while bullets fly at a too fast of speed to be stopped by something like this, flames are very easily moved by the slightest breeze, thus by manipulating the physical energy in the room with her mind, and threw deep concentration, she is able to create a energy field to push back against said things, though the more force that pushes against the mental wave, the weaker it becomes, it also takes a very large drain out of her to keep it up for very long {Keeping it up for more then three post's will result in a very massive headache and blurry vision}.


Her more tiring and stronger abilities, She is also able to create "Mental-bullets", in other words strong impacts made on a solid object by compressing the air molecules, which makes them visible by forming strong ripples in the air around her and even as they move, like all her other mental attacks, around her to form high velocity air bullets, strong enough to indent metal up to 3 inches thick and even break wooden doors to pieces. Using these air bullets take a massive drain on her mental stability, often giving her massive headaches and eye pains, some times her eyes will even bleeds as if she's crying blood, she'll get massive migraines, get dizzy, blurry vision, and even unbalanced enough to fall over. Due to the stress they put on the brain, of course her mental abilities, such as the mental wave/force field, and the mental bullets, have a range on them, the mental wall {force field} has a range {that she can push it forward} of 6.56 feet or 2 meters, while the mental bullets can only travel forward about 5 feet before becoming nothing by a harmless breeze, however she can only use about 3 mental bullets before the migraines kick in, after that, 2 more would be her limit, making a total of 5 before passing out. She can even influence Random number generators, dice rolls, and even coin tosses. While her natural abilities are what she normally uses, she will go hand-to-hand due to combat training she gained threw the knights, though its mostly on instinct while fighting hand-to-hand and more of a brawling type style of fighting, its the same when she uses her machetes in battle, there's not really a style to it, just instinct. After all her limits are reached {limits stated above} her abilities will begin to weaken and fail, if she continues to push herself and continually use of her mental ability in a battle can even go as far as the cause brain damage and damage brain cells, even as far as shutting her brain down and killing her. Also, due to the fact that they make very visible ripples in the air, they can be seen and dodged.

Organization: Unaffiliated

Personality: Tethra has developed a rather bleak, almost nihilistic outlook on life, relying only on her own power, skills, and ability. She does not believe in god nor emotions, often saying that they are pointless for a person to have, however she does say that dreams are essential. One of her funnier aspects of her is being quite forgetful, implying that her brash attitude caters to her stupidity; one moment unable to recall remembering someone she met only minutes ago, let alone killing them. Tethra is very competitive, strong willed, stubborn, impatient, easily bored, and extremely ill-tempered. Unlike most people, she is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. In contrast to this, she is revealed to be highly ticklish. She is also a heavy smoker and is often seen with a coffin nail in her mouth. During battle She is a merciless killer without a conscience who will, ordered to or not, kill anyone at the slightest provocation, even unarmed civilians, hell, she'll even kill the animals in the area out of sheer boredom. However, she seems to be loyal to Rone due to the fact that he actually provided a way out.

Biography: Born in Italy, she was raised by a normal christian family, well almost christian family, her Scottish father was a scientist and didn't really believe in god, while her mother, a "full time catholic", helped out at the church down the road from the house. Strangely, her pink hair was natural, which confused her parents, and even her eyes, but the doctor couldn't tell them anything other then it was a birth defect, cause he really didn't know. Once they brought her home it was just like a normal family, until she turned two. On her second birthday she was placed in her room so her parents could set up the table for the birthday dinner, however, while isolated in her room, the young Amara discovered something. While reached for her bottle, that was on the far side of the room by the bed, she struggled but her arm wouldn't reach, strangely enough, just as she began to cry, the bottle shot off of the dresser drawer, flew across the room, hit her in the head and fell inside her crib, along side her falling beside it holding her head and crying in pain. Her mother soon bursts threw the door to see what was the matter when she froze in horror at the sight, all of Amara's toys, her baby bottle, and even her teddy bear were swirling around her crib as she continued to cry.

Her mother, almost completely frozen in fear, called for her husband who also came rushing down the hallway from the kitchen into the room, only to get smacked in the head with a toy train he just bought her for her birthday. After regaining his balance, and almost falling out of the room onto the floor, he too stood frozen with his wife as they watched the toys form a mini tornado around their child. Thinking it to be some sort of demonic possession, her mother ran for their room to the bible, while her father, a bit skeptical about anything concerning demons, though it was so strange he really couldn't wrap his brain around it, made his way into the room while at the same time getting pelted with toys as he made his way closer to his daughter. After finally making it threw the small hurricane of toys, her crying stopped as he picked her up, seconds later her mother running in, bible and phone in hand. Her parents were.....freaked out to say the least, although her father was a scientist he really couldn't explain it, her mother immediately jumped into the whole "Demonic" thing and had her baptized immediately the next day, she felt relived afterward and took her daughter home. Life went one with the occasional outbreak of things flying off the wall, T.V. channels changing by themselves, even the combination to her dads safe on the wall strangely popping open.

Oh the day of her 6th birthday, another outbreak in her ability happened as the small desk in her room suddenly exploded into splinters and lifted into the air before flying into the far wall after she came home from school, her parents rushed in and later found out it was due to the kids in her class who were bullying her due to her weird hair. However, the next day at school in the playground, the other kids began to bully her again despite what the teacher said. One child even threw a rock at her, which hit her in the side of the temple, almost knocking her out. Though only a little blood was shown, her hate for them that she had been building up suddenly unleashed itself in a massive mental blast, rippling threw the air like heatwaves, it blew the children back across the playground, breaking a few bones in the process. However, she didn't stop at this, after tossing the kids across the yard, she wrecked the playground. Her parents immediately came and picked her up after listening in horror at what she did to the other kids, and took her home. Amara was left in her room all alone, sitting on her bed as she listened threw the stillness of the house to her parents conversation about what to do. Listening to their argument about whether to send her to a mental ward where they could "Help" her, send her to her father lab, or just all in all giver her away, made her feel even more isolated then any other time in her life. Hearing her own parents talk about sending her away was heartbreaking.

After stewing in the silence of her room, she sat on her bed with her legs pulled to her chest, hugging them and just blankly staring at the wall. She didn't move for three days, she didn't even eat, sleep, or go to the bathroom. Her eyes began to glaze over, dark bags formed under them, eventually she went insane, trying to figure out why she had these abilities, why she was cursed. Raking her brain over it for days, even weeks. Of course the lack of sleep didn't help either, her parents even began to get more worried, their daughter quite literally looked possessed, the black bags under her eyes, the tired lanky body language, the twisted, almost psychotic look in her eyes. This continued for a little over a year, she hardly slept, and when she did it was only for a few hours, on the day of her eight birthday she practically went insane, her mentality snapped after the year of almost complete isolation from her parents, who mostly only talked to her or even saw her was when she came to eat, and from the other children at the school, she ended up blowing holes in the walls, breaking the table, chairs, and even killing both her mother and father, she even broke a gas mane which cause fire to the house due to her fathers lit cigarette. Standing in the living room of the burning house, her parents bodies at her feet, blood splattered over he tiny body, she went completely insane. However, since her father secretly helped the Knights of the Holy Light who had descent into corruption with their research, after the murder of him and his wife, their house burning down and Amara left sitting in the front yard, they took her in.

They heard only what she could do from what her father told them, deciding to test this theory, and increase their soldiers, they put her threw multiple tests to see if her abilities were true. However, most of the tests went wrong, instead of moving the object they told her to, she ended up tossing the man who was giving the test across the room and into the wall with a mental blast. Though this was intriguing, the child needed to learn how to control her abilities if she would be of any use. To help the child learn to control her abilities, they developed a special type of helmet that covered her entire head, it was build to help maintain and stabilize her brainwaves, even when angered. Though it was a prototype helmet, it was needed. The helmet did help but very little, it took months for the young girl to be able to move things that see wanted, without random mishaps happening, such as a personnel flying into the wall. She was forced to keep the helmet on most of her time in training, even while sleeping. She trained day and night, up until her 15th birthday when her mental power grew so much that, during a test to lift a large block of steel, the piece of metal on the helmet over her right eye blew out and broke the right side of the mask, sending multiple cracks threw the reinforced steel that it was made out of, the mental blast was so strong that it send the two scientist in the room off of their feet, across the room, and slamming into the reinforced glass on the double sided mirror.

Obviously just doing mental training wasn't enough, while making a new helmet for her, she was given a bit of physical training as well, to help build muscle, after all, both were important. It took months to make a new mask, one of stronger metal. She was basically raised by the old knights, but she felt no attachment to them. If anything she was using them to help control her ability, which worked out well enough that by the time she turned 20 her abilities were almost under her complete control, even without the help of the helmet they made her. A few days after achieving this, and using the current events of whats happening to the knights, she went on a rampage while the labs chain-of-command was in chaos and eventually escaped the lab she was being kept in. After leaving it and killing just about every one in her way, she made her way around Scotland looking for things to pass time with, being homeless and stealing food is all she could really do after getting away, until she stumbled upon Rone who actually offered her away out of said life.

I know you didn't mean anything by it Mike but please don't go bumping your sheet. As for this character, I will be honest. It takes me a bit out of my comfort zone regardless of everything that you have done to limit her. I see way too much potential for this to turn ugly if this character is approved. Again, maybe it is just me but still. My one stipulation before I can vote either way on this is that it needs to be more fatal for her to use it continually. It needs to be something that doesn't just cause a migraine but can actually cause brain damage and perhaps due to telekinetic energy, literally fries her brain cells and decreases her power and ability by doing so. Again, hopefully this is just e being a little bit paranoid about that sort of thing but...

Not just you. Those are a few of the concerns I talked about. Additionally, from the way she's used in the chat box (regardless of that affecting RP in no way, shape, or form), I see a lot of god mod potential. I've watched you do things such as tossing grenades back (well within her weight range), and with how you describe her being able to turn practically anything into high-speed death bullets of doom, it's just too much. Full on psychics in a world without much psychic powers is hard to do. If you still want to try and do this, be my guest. Just know that we're going to scrutinize her heavily and, if she is approved, will probably be much different than when you first imagined her.

@ Arty, i added what you suggested, if she over uses it she can destroy her own brain cells and cause brain damage to herself if it is over used. I also had a talk with Tod before he stopped being a mod or something.... or is it Ridl... i dunno anymore. But I also had a talk with him and Amaras ability, she wont be able to throw people across the room unless their NPC's that aren't really controlled, if another person is actually controlling them, {like tod is/was doing at the knights castle} she will actually have to fight them.

@ Ridl: To be fair, no one really uses grenades in battles on here, at least not much anyway. And you cant really gauge how i can use her by what i do in the c-box with her. Just because you see godmod potential in the c-box isn't really fair to gauge on her. Its not like i said she can catch bullets with her mind. You can take Enrico maxwell and put him against alucard in the c-box and anything can happen. Its a place to mess around. Seriously man... I call B.S. True, this is one of my more "powerful" characters, but other mental abilities have also been approved, and one was FAR more OP'd then this one. But that was due to the other staff, cant really put that on y'all. I also lowered the speed at which she can throw things.

Not only can this OC harm others and knock them off their feet without having to physically touch them...but she can create force fields to protect herself from close range attacks and cock guns and have them fire without touching them?

I can almost picture this OC using the force-field ability whenever she engages in close-combat with someone.
I'd imagine other members would find these abilities incredibly bothersome to come in contact with during RP and
even with the weaknesses you've given her, I still see godmod potential.

I'd be more inclined to believe you if there weren't all those pesky "facts" contradicting you. In recent times (the span of a month) at the Knights' castle, grenades have been flying all over the place. Jean and O'Conner were killed by grenades. Also, stop using the, "But they got to do X, so I should be able to do X too." It makes you come off as a brat and it's very annoying.

I said that the chat has no affect on the RP, so you don't have to tell me that. What I meant was when I come in and you're play fighting with others, I see you tossing grenades back in peoples' faces and whatnot (one of my concerns). Also, and while this isn't the biggest concern, I just realized that it isn't very believable for her to be in the Knights at all. They'd have deployed her in RP for one, and for another, why do they need her when they had Adara?

Going to hold off on the vote for a bit longer.

No where did i say that "Well, Adara go approved so approve Amara! No where. If it sounded like i was Implying that, then i apologize. I was just saying it wouldn't be hard to pull off a psychic like you stated above. And To be honest, aside from the battle at the knights castle, thats the only place ive ever seen grenades used, but that could just be me. But, then again it makes sense to bring grenades if yer going to attack a friggin' castle.

Rone said it was fine if I made her a Experiment for the knights since he was the one who had the knights before marcus, i figured it could be a old project or something. I dunno. If ya dont like then dont approve it. I can always go back to being Stein, i just thought it would be fun have a Psychokinesis character.

Most people have a grenade or two on them to start with if they're a soldier character. And if it's not grenades, it could be throwing knives. Pipes. Sticks. Rocks. Nearly anything they could throw, you could bounce back at them. And, once again, your ability to make pretty much anything a bullet. Even with your edit to how strong it is, they're still having a bunch of office supplies fly at them, and if it hits an eye or something, then they're fucked.

I don't want to have to do this, and it's not that you haven't been compliant, but there's just so much potential for god modding and such that I can't approve a character like this. I really don't know how you'd be able to keep her abilities how they are, aside from nerfing her to the point of a parlor trick magician. My suggestion would be to scrap her in this form and try again with a different set of powers.

I mean since you said that it can barely pierce skin. That wouldn't matter if you aimed for their face, since it would pierce their soft and vulnerable eye jelly.
